Hi escapists, we've got some news!
As some of you may have already noticed, there have been a few changes to the page recently.
In particular, the introduction of a new category, “Full Game Any% 4 Co-Op”, with padlocks that could be done by more than one player. It was only natural to separate possible four-player runs from the current three-player runs. So the former “Full Game Any% 3+ Co-Op” category has been replaced by two categories: “Full Game Any% 3 Co-Op” and “Full Game Any% 4 Co-Op”.
As all the runs in the old category were achieved with three players, the new four-player category is still looking for its first world record. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
As for the new elements that will follow this post.
For greater fairness and precision, the rules have been updated. All previously posted runs will be have been re-timed to follow the new rules. A note will specify the old time and the reasons for any changes.
To facilitate, ensure and automate timer usage.
New tools are now available on the “Resources” page:
A Discord server for our community is now available.
It's the perfect place to talk about the game, Speedrun.com, LiveSplit or anything else with other runners and moderators. A guide to setting up LiveSplit with the tools mentioned above is available there. If needed, you can go there to ask for help on how to make a valid run (video, timer, run tips, ...). Voice channels are also available if you want to try and set a new world record with other runners.
Happy running!
See you on the Discord server.
