Shpan’s Ephemeral Fantasia Any% Speedrun Notes

My notes are a little rough as they weren't originally written for others to read, but I put a lot of work into it and I think it should still serve as a good foundation for anyone looking to try running Ephemeral Fantasia. You will very likely still need to write some notes for yourself and refer to videos of completed runs, but this should work as a really strong starting point. I'm also in the process of rerouting some parts for my next run and if it ends up being a big improvement then I can definitely upload the notes for that as well if anyone is interested. Good luck and feel free to send me a message if you have any questions!

General Information

  1. Time starts after entering name.

  2. Hold triangle and mash circle to speed through text.

  3. Directions in my notes are written from Mouse’s perspective. (Left = Mouse’s Left)

  4. When a character's action bar is red they will wait to receive a command. You can swap between characters with red action bars, and so you should sometimes wait and react before issuing a command. (For example, if Mouse's action bar is red and an enemy is moving to attack, you can wait to see who the enemy attacks and then have Mouse use a healing item on that character). An added bonus to waiting on red action bars and reacting is that characters with red action bars have a higher chance to dodge the enemy's attack.

  5. Sometimes people have some trouble understanding why certain interactions play out the way they do in combat. In combat time lags when carrying out actions and is indicated by a character having a blue action bar. This means they are queued to perform an action. The queue resolves in order based on whether or not a character is acting on another character. For example, if you selected an attack with Mouse on an enemy, but that enemy is moving to attack Claire, then Mouse will need to wait until the enemy's action on Claire resolves before he can move to attack, during this time Mouse will be queued to act with a blue action bar. By understanding these rules we can use this to have our characters act faster and more often in tough fights. For example, imagine a scenario where both Mouse and Rummy have low health and you want to heal both of them. In this example Claire has a red action bar and is ready to receive a command, while both Rummy's and Mouse's action bar is still charging from a previous action. So you have the option to use a heal berry on Mouse or Rummy. If you see that the enemy is moving to attack Rummy then you know that the enemy's action must fully finish and resolve before Claire can heal Rummy, but if you heal Mouse then she can act immediately and at the same time as the enemy is attacking Rummy. (This functions this way because no action is queued to act on Mouse and Mouse is not queued to act yet either). Both actions will resolve simultaneously, the enemy will attack Rummy and Claire will heal Mouse. By choosing Mouse in this situation Claire will act immediately and will begin recovering her action bar for her next action much sooner.

  6. In battle there is a click sound that indicates when a character’s action bar is full. When entering a random encounter even if your screen is still dark from loading the fight, you can start moving your cursor through the battle options as soon as you hear that click sound. (For example, very useful when running from random encounters, as soon as you hear the click press up and X). Pressing up brings you to the bottom option “Exit,” you can sometimes flee even before the fight fully loads. This only happens on encounters where the party members are surrounding the enemies because your action bar starts higher, which should be a little more than about 50% of all random encounters in the run. (You can see examples of me fleeing random encounters while the screen is still black throughout my run).

Good Spots for Practice Saves 1. Start of Loop 2 2. From before changing the drinks in the chef’s room 3. Start of Loop 3 4. From before entering the cave to memorize the path 5. Start of Loop 4 6. After defeating Twinboom for the second time.

LOOP 1 When you have control of Mouse rest for 6 hours. Rummy will come pick you up for your meeting with Xelpher. Accept Xelpher’s request and get an A rank on the song. Go pick up the money and then go back to the inn and sleep for 6 hours. You will be taken to the castle. Immediately go down the main corridor and up the stairs. Enter the double doors in the middle. Small cutscene and go through the west door. Follow the doors and go up the stairs. Cutscene with Loreille. Leave the castle and go to Mouse’s weapon upgrade shop. Upgrade 2 levels. Leave the weapon upgrade shop and follow the road east. Keep following the road east and up the ramp until you see the store with the bed sign. Get the fog sphere from the drawers in the back and leave. Return the same way back to town over the bridge. Return to the inn. Rest for 6 hours. Cutscene triggers at the beach. After the cutscene ends change Mouse style to offense (status screen). Run from first battle. Wait at the beach until the holy gem ceremony begins. Cutscene triggers taking you there. After cutscene ends use fog sphere. Go southwest until you reach the next map. Run northeast to the next map near the woodcutter camps. Find the bridge southeast After crossing bridge continue to the next map. Follow the trail south, it turns west and keep going west. Follow the trail until you’re back in town. Go to the inn. Rest an hour until the appointment with the general. Cutscene and tell Bagoth NO. When you have control go down through northeast stairs. Go downstairs northwest. On this floor go south then west to the first door on west side. Talk to the guard on the left. Follow path north and go through the door, get DH Egg from between jar and box. Exit castle from main exit (south). Run to town all the way south until you get to the ramp for the park area. Exit through the open fence and enter the little building. Say NO to DH Egg guy. Leave back to town. Rummy will invite you to dinner. Go back to the inn. Keep resting for 6 hours until the marriage ceremony event begins, after cutscene ends go back to the inn. Keep resting for 6 hours until the banquet event begins. After cutscene ends go back to the inn. Keep resting for 6 hours until the wedding event begins. Play the wedding song. Fight with Xelpher begins. Slash Xelpher and wait for him to kill Mouse. Loop 1 Finished

LOOP 2 Follow the path to town and meet Kyte. Go back inside the inn and rest for 6 hours, Rummy will escort you to Xelpher. Say YES and get an A rank on the song. Go pick up your money. Go to quarry side of town, follow path with fence near ocean side of town. Follow path up the ramp and enter building with bed sign, pick up the fog sphere from the drawer in the back. Follow path towards town but go right instead of going down the ramp. Follow path and make a right up another ramp, follow path until you reach two buildings with white, enter right side one. Check cabinet in the back and take fog sphere. Follow path back down the ramp, make a left and follow path down the next ramp, enter the bar. Talk to Claire, and buy her a drink. Cutscene with Claire, after leave the bar and go back to the inn. Rest for 1 hour, 1 hour, 6 hours, leave the inn. Go up the ramp towards restaurant and leave town through the bridge, keep following path east until you reach the forest. When entering the forest use a fog sphere, follow the trail south, go east at the intersection, and east again. In the new map go northeast, pass the chest and into the next map. Cutscene with Rummy, holy gem ceremony cutscene starts. When you have control go southwest and keep going until the next map, continue southwest until you reach the bridge. Cross bridge and go southeast on the trail to the next map, follow the trail south at the intersection. Follow trail back to town and go to the inn. Rest 6 hours, meeting with Bagoth starts. Tell Bagoth No. Go down the stairs and down the next stairs, on the main floor find the first northwest door (the area with the mages), enter Ano’s room. Talk to Ano (twice?) and leave. Go to the room next door and talk to both mages here. Leave the castle. Go to Claire’s watch shop then leave (dont need to talk to her), cutscene triggers, when asked to recruit say NO. Head over to the park (up the ramps near the inn), pick up the Rapendia flower from second the park fixture near the back, keep going to the next map (Rummy should stop you around this time). Follow the trail to Plosi’s house, after the cutscene return to town. Return to Claire’s shop. After cutscene deposit all money and take Claire with you and go back to Plosi’s house. After cutscene go to the house just passed the restaurant and get a DH egg from the back then go to the restaurant to meet Rummy. Say YES to Rummy, after dropping her off at her home go back to Plosi house. Cutscene triggers with Plosi at the castle. After cutscene say YES to Plosi joining. Head back to town and go to Claire’s shop and take her with you, then go to Rummy’s house. Go up the ramp and follow the path to chicken seller, take Piymi chicken. Go to the castle and head to the right side outside the castle walls, talk to the scientist near the plant. After the battle grab Jailsons key from his body on the ground, then head into the castle from the main entrance. From the entrance go to the right and enter first door (use the key) and grab his clothes from the drawer. Now head back to where the scientists are, and use jailsons clothes from the inventory. Cutscene triggers,you’ll get the reactor key. Head to the inn, rest for 6 hours, 6 hours, 6 hours, 3 hours (it should be around 3PM now) Go to the castle, and enter through right side door and go to Rummy’s room. (safety save here?) Inspect the three items on the table, fight starts. After battle head west then north to go up the stairs and exit through main castle entrance. After passing the bridge to the castle follow the first path east and enter the second shop with the crystal ball sign, buy 2 sage charms, then enter the other crystal ball shop to the right and buy 3 earth charms, leave the shop and follow the first path, go west at the intersection and enter the shop with the chest sign. Buy as many live berries as possible. Now head back to the main part of town and follow the path south (passed Rummy’s house) and go up the ramp to the DH egg place. Take Pill and leave, go to the castle through main entrance. Go west and down the stairs. Go to the room in front of you with the chefs. (Safety save during runs and PRACTICE SAVE HERE FOR THE NEXT SECTION) Use a sage charm here and inspect the glasses on the table. Choose BLUE and then a fight triggers. (Keep Plosi on reserve to heal Mouse/Claire?) Banquet scene triggers after the boss battle. Accept Rummy into the party and replace Plosi. (After cutscene use a fog sphere/safety save?)Hold downright out of the load, time is really tight here, walk down the corridor (use Rapendia and fog sphere, change Rummy’s and Claire’s style to defense), make a quick left and up to go down the stairs, on this floor go down to leave the castle, enter the reactor room on left side of the castle. You need to talk to Bagoth in here BEFORE 9PM, use a sage charm before talking to him, and then enter the door. Cutscene triggers then a boss fight. When battle starts use earth charms on everyone and keep Pill/Mouse alive with Rummy/Claire in reserve using live berries. After battle head back to the inn, keep resting for 6 hours until the time loops. Loop 2 Finished.

LOOP 3 After cutscene with Bagoth rest for 6 hours, meeting with Xelpher triggers (Bagoth and Rummy joins party) Head back to town and collect money from office building and get to Claire’s house before 8PM After cutscene at Claire’s place go to inn and rest for 1 hour, head to main area of town and follow the path out of town that hugs ocean side. Follow the path until you find the flower shop, buy Evergreen and leave, follow the path away from town up the ramp and grab the fog sphere from the same building with bed sign. Go back to town across stone bridge and exit town from southwest area that’s blocked by the guard. After passing the guard use fog sphere and evergreen, (maybe safety save here as navigating through forest is difficult without map) Follow the linear path and make a left at first intersection, right at next intersection, left at the next, left at the next, and you’ll be at the graveyard. Enter the building and talk to the NPC to get the map piece, leave the graveyard. Go left at first intersection, then cross the bridge, go right, right, pass the house and enter the swamp. Go left, right, right, left. Once you reach the forest keep walking northeast, at the chest go east, enter the next map section and when you see the red flowers go south, enter next map section, go southeast, find the brown path and follow it. Go right, follow the forest wall east until next map section, keep going south following the wall of trees to Mouse’s left, and enter woodcutter’s village. At the village go into the first building in front of you. Grab the amulet from the white cabinet and exit. Enter the building in front of the building you exited, talk to the NPC and receive map piece, exit building. Leave the village from the same way you entered, follow the path north at the blue flowers, at first intersection on brown road go right, then pass the house, then right. Go north hugging the left side until you reach the beach, grab the chest on the right side to get a piece of the map, continue the path into the cave. (Make a practice save here so you can memorize the cave map) In the cave go up the ramp to your left and keep going inwards, go right and up the ramp, then left across the bridge, up the ramp, and up into next map piece, go right and open the chest to get an egg, then go back and down the ramp, keep going forward and up the ramp, cross the bridge, keep going east, you’ll pass under the bridge and then go north, follow the path to north to exit the cave. Follow the shoreline path to the next map piece then enter the witch’s home, buy 12 leap potions and the map piece. Pick up the evil gem from potions shelf in the room. (At some point equip Mouse with the power armlet?) Exit and leap potion to map with trees not connected to others in the middle, go to woodcutter’s village (the intersection with the blue flowers, not sure exactly which way to go but one of those paths leads to it, south?) Talk to the guy near the lift and buy 1 flame charm, 3 illusion charms, 3 ice charms, 3 thunder charms. Leap potion to map piece with town written on it, go to the inn and talk to the innkeeper, go to your room and a cutscene triggers. Rest 6 hours, 6 hours, 6 hours, 3 hours (2 to be safe). (Should be around 12) Go to Claire’s house, deposit all charms, money, deposit 3 leap potions, and change party members to Rummy and Claire, then leave. Pick up a death hiyako from chicken place. No. 65 Pill again. Leap potion to castle map piece. Enter main entrance castle, go to Ano’s room, talk to Ano then select talk to him again, leave the castle. Leap potion to town, (if by the well grab the rapendia flower in the park, grab later if by the inn). Rest until about 2am (6 hours, 6 hours). Safety save? Leap to map piece all the way to the left. Use map to see the right way (you’re going to the graveyard) Find the golden bird on the corner of the graveyard, fight it. Heal with defensive characters and wait for Pill to kill it. Leap potion to town and go to the gold feather shop, leap potion back to town (if you are by the well grab the rapendia flower now, if not go to the inn) Rest until between 3PM-4PM Day 5, then go to chicken shop and pick up No. 82 Piwalg, now go to gold feather shop to get the inn. Leap potion to castle and go to Ado. Cutscene and fight. Replace Claire for Ano and then leave the castle. Leap potion to town and rest until the next loop. Loop 3 Finished

Loop 4 Start and take Ano with you, make the first left turn and go up the ramp, first right and up another ramp, and go to that same building to get the fog sphere again. Go to Claire’s house, withdraw all money and leap potions, take Rummy and Claire with you, and leave. Go to the chicken place and get no.82 Pilwag, leap potion to inn and rest until 11:30am-12pm on Day 3, leap potion to top right piece that you have. (Beach is dangerous- safety save) Follow the beach south until the next map piece and meet the bandits. Wait for chicken to kill them all, if other party members die you have time to take a break here. Follow path north, then northeast at the fork and go to the bandits hideout, enter building on the right. After cutscene enter the same building, and examine drawer to get a map piece, after go to the other building. SAFETY SAVE HERE, gambling game. You need to win 6 or 7 times in a row. 7 is safest. 230,000 gold at the minimum needed. After you’re done leap to top map piece to the witch’s house. Buy 99 phoenix potions, 20 gigamin, 40 leap potions, and leap to town map piece. Go to Mouse weapon shop and fully upgrade. Go to Claire’s house, deposit all money and all but one leap potions, all gigamin, all phoenix potions, fog sphere, and then leave. Go back to the inn and rest until time loops again Loop 4 Finished.

Loop 5 Grab the fog sphere from that same building again, then go to Claire’s house withdraw all phoenix potions, all leap potions (take Rummy?). Then go to chicken shop and get Piwalg, leap to town. Rest 6 hours, 6 hours, 6 hours, 6 hours, 6 hours, until Rinna says you have a visitor. After cutscene leap to dark forest map piece, go east to bandits hideout. Cutscene with Gallhint, after leap to town. Rest until Day 3 about 7PM (5:30PM?) Need to get the rapendia flower from the park also. Leap to castle. Wait at castle entrance for the bandit event. Cutscene and fight Xelpher, Gallhint uses wind magic, Rummy should keep Mouse alive so Mouse can level slash up. Cutscene and say YES to follow Rummy, when in control safety save and go to Claire’s house, deposit all phoenix potions, all leap potions, and WITHDRAW the PRINCESS’S WATCH, then cutscene. After select “Don’t get mixed up,” remove Rummy from party and wait for an encounter to die. You will loop and Ano will greet you for cutscene, after the cutscene select Rummy and Claire. Go to Claire’s house, withdraw all money, thunder charms, (2?) fog sphere, all phoenix potions, all leap potions, then leave. Go down to the beach, and go to furthest house down, buy the wish flower then leap to castle. Enter through main entrance, go to Ano’s room, talk to Ano and then leave and leap to top map piece and enter witch’s house. After cutscene enter the name Lilac, Lupinus, Helenum, Almeria, then leap to castle and talk to Ano. After that leap to town and go to the inn. Rest until Day 2 1PMish, (safety save?) Go to shopping district/intersection area and go to the two shops with the crystal ball (their doors face the white wall). Buy 2 sage charms, then leave town through stone bridge and go to the flower shop near the beginning of the bazaar area. Buy 3 evergreen and go back to that same building to grab the fog sphere. Use fog sphere and evergreen then leap to castle and go talk to Ano. Then leave and leap to forest map in the middle-right with on writing on it. Enter the area with the weird camera change and enter the ruins (safety save).
Inspect the wall then leap potion back to town, go to the park and get the rapendia flower then go Rummy’s house. Go into her backyard and inspect in the corner near her house. Then go to the chicken house and grab Piwalg, now leap back to that same forest and go to the ruins again. Now you can blow up the wall. (SAVE BEFORE ENTERING, DANGEROUS ENEMIES HERE) Follow the path, then go left, right, straight, right, grab the demon armlet, then head back and go left, left, right, fast right, left, right, then go down the stairs. Go left and left and touch the stone, then go back to the stairs and go to the right side, go right down left, and touch the stone. There should be shaking now. Following the outside ring up and the thicker hallway leads to stairs. Follow the path forward, use the rapendia flower and equip Mouse with the demon armlet and evil gem. Heal to full, use sage charm, and start the fight (Turn battle speed to slow?) (You can keep the battle speed on Fast if you’re comfortable, the only real difference is just needing to input the first actions a lot more quickly so your characters act before the NPCs do). Have everyone use thunder charms on themselves, have Mouse use jump flash on the engineers, and Rummy rezzes. After the fight grab the chests on the left and right and then go back up the stairs. Go to the middle and up the stairs. Go left, right, left, fast left, left, fast left, right Save once you’re out and leap potion to town and go to Claire’s house. Deposit 1 evergreen, about 70 phoenix potions, and 8 leap potions, then leave and go to chicken place and say yes (dont go a get chicken this time). Leap potion to inn and keep resting 6 hours until a soldier comes, say YES to accepting the duel and when you have control go back to the inn and rest for 6 or 7 hours (6 to be safer), go to chicken place and grab no.92 Piul. At 5pm you will teleport to a cutscene, duel with Grantus. If he attacks chicken you can attack with Mouse, if he attacks Mouse you need to phoenix potion Mouse. After battle have Rinna join the party. Go to the grave and use the wish flower then leap potion to town. Go to the chicken shop and take Pill with you. Leap potion to the castle, after small scene choose Claire.
Use fog sphere, evergreen, equip darkness gem to Mouse. Follow the corridor and go right, right, and left up the stairs. Then go left, then forward, then left, and left up the stairs. Then go left and through the big double doors. Go to the princess’s room, then exit.
After passing the big double doors go right down the stairs, then right, right and down the stairs, then right, left, left and leave the castle. Top off everyone’s health before leaving. Have Claire use ice magic during this battle and Mouse use jumpslash, Rummy should heal. Cutscene triggers. Select Claire and Bagoth for this fight. Bagoth heals, Mouse jumpslash, and Claire ice magic. After cutscene select Rummy and RindRinna, then withdraw everything and leave. Leap potion to dark forest map piece, and go to bandits hideout and see Gallhint. Say “Ok, don’t overdo it.” Then leap potion to town, rest until Day 3 5:00PMish?
Go to Claire’s house, after cutscene choose ONLY Claire and then Gallhint will show up and you enter the mirror. Turn off (AI Select) Gallhint’s wind magic attack, and now you need to learn some new attacks for the team. In battles have Claire use Cologne, Gallhint’s use Knife Attack, and Mouse use Jumpslash. Head towards the bird statue park area (up the ramps). While fighting Gallhint needs to learn Nailed and Triple Shot and Rush?, (knife throw learns nailed, nailed learns triple shot), Claire needs to learn speed chain and heal chain (cologne learns speed chain) and then spam speed chain to teach Mouse his haste skill. Examine statue thing to start the boss battle. Just attack boss for phase 1, then backtrack to Claire’s house. Once you have rush on Gallhint just run from the fights. Pass through the mirror in Claire’s house and then change party to Gallhint and RindRinna, now go to Mouse’s weapon shop to upgrade Gallhint to max, then go back to the same area to fight phase 2 of the boss. (get the rapendia flower on the way) Before fighting the boss change Gallhint style to offense, turn all Gallhint skills to OFF (AI Select), and do the same for Rinna, safety save. When the fight starts everyone uses ICE CHARM on themselves, then use triple shot, recovery dance, and jumpslash. If rinna learns offensive buff skill during battle then use it on Mouse for his jumpslashes to do more damage. (this buff stacks) After the battle keep the same party, use fogsphere and evergreen, and, leap potion to top map with witch, max phoenix potions and buy a lot of leap potions (15 or so), then leap to the map piece forest that’s right next to town. You’re looking for the secret entrance to castle so go into the forest and hug west side. Enter side entrance of castle, safety save before going in. Follow corridor then go left and down stairs, then follow corridor and open big double doors to the right. Save before entering stone door. PRACTICE SAVE BEFORE, THIS IS THE FINAL DUNGEON Go straight to next room, then straight, right, right, left and up the stairs, then go forward through the door. Go straight, right and follow up the stairs. Then follow the path to the next stairs. Then follow the path until you go down stairs. Then down stairs again. Then up stairs. Then down stairs. Then go straight until you see stairs and go up. Then go up the stairs right next to you. Follow the path down stairs. And down stairs again. You should see a save point and get the chests nearby with the holy badge, equip Gallhint with the holy badge and demon armlet and super pwr armlet. Unequip darkness gem. SAVE NOW Backtrack (watch the video to memorize this I guess), backtrack until you go find a divider in the wall between two sides, go to the left side this time. Follow to upstairs, then go down stairs, then up, then up, then down, then down, then back through the big door. Go down the stairs here. Follow the path south, then Mouse’s left, left, and out to the beginning of the dungeon. Save outside the dungeon. You should be back in the castle basement, now cross to other double doors. THREE BOSSES HERE, safety save. Switch Rinna to defense stance, gallhint use rush, rinna use battle dance, mouse heal and rez/jumpslash. (Rinna should only have battle dance on AI option so if she ignores orders she still will use Battle Dance), after the fights get the chests for the keys. Use Rapendia before the middle fight, Mouse use flame charm on himself during left room fight. (one big AOE attack then rez and stabilize.) After the 3 fights exit through north big doors. Use the doors in front of you to enter last dungeon, save before going in. Go north to next room, place wing key in the southwest slot, then go north and left place horn key, backtrack and go left at the red pole, then go right, right, left and place serpent key, then go east and then right, then left is a safety save Change party, add Claire and replace Rinna. Go to the doors and cutscene. First boss choose gallhint and claire, then choose rummy and gallhint, everyone use illusion charms on themselves, for the third fight choose gallhint and rindrinna, gallhint should use triple shot for this fight? Rinna use battle dance and mouse jumpslash. After they’re dead choose gallhint (claire automatically joins), then turn OFF all skills for Claire in AI Select, then go back and safety save. Then go back and go up the stairs to the left. Keep following the staircases up, linear path. Eventually get to big doors, (maybe choose battle speed SLOW for this boss fight) Gallhint uses triple shot to clear the adds, this ends quick. NEXT BATTLE starts right after, Mouse jumpslash C, Gallhint rush C, Claire uses item Gigamin on Gallhint. (test if there’s a way to get Claire heal chain before this fight to deal with the poisons) You need to killl the C tentacle as soon as possible using a Gigamin on Gallhint, then have him use rush and Mouse use jumpslash to kill it in one turn before it gets healed. SO to do that you need to select Claire first and have her use Gigamin on Gallhint, then select your attacks for the other two. SO also wait for her first heal to select Gallhints and Mouse’s attacks so she doesnt heal between them. When C tentacle is dead do the same thing to A tentacle. When A is dead kill E. (Seems like if you did Gigamin wears off). When E is dead kill F, when F is dead kill D, then kill the last. THIRD PHASE STARTS- Claire use Gigamin on Gallhtin, then Gallhint use rush, and Mouse heals whoever was hit. Then the last fight- select RinRinna and Gallhint, START with Rinna using Gigamin on Gallhint, then Mouse Hurry?, then Gallhint Rush. Have Gallhint do all the damage and Mouse and Rinna heal and rez whoever gets hit. YOU CAN FINALLY SAVE AFTER ALL OF THAT. After the cutscene choose Grantus to join, when you have control SAVE. equip Grantus with superpow armlet and demon armlet and holy badge, change his style to Offense, then walk out of the ruins. At the fork go south to the woodcutter village remains, after cutscene go down the lift. Go southeast until you see the wooden bridge, cross the bridge and follow the path to the next map piece. Follow the path south going back to town. Once you reach town the first NPC lets you upgrade Grantus weapon, after that go forward then right and follow the path forward (should be going west). Then go left and follow the path forward in town, talk to the glowing NPC here and buy 40+ of the best berries. Follow the ramp up and continue forward to the next map piece. Once you reach the park area talk to the glowing NPC to the left. Buy 3 EVIL CHARMS for the last boss fight. Go further in to Plosi’s house. Go to Grantus skills and AI Select Demon Bull OFF, keep Brandish ON. You can buy 99 phoenix potions from the NPC here if you need. If you don’t need them then when passing under the bridge near Bagoth go up the ruined house and towards the castle. Enter right side entrance for castle. Hug left wall going down the stairs. Enter big double doors to your right. Enter the same dungeon again and go forward. Go left to heal and save. Then keep going to the double door that is LOCKED. Glitch to get through this- open the menu right before you touch the door to glitch through. Once through go left and down the stairs. Follow linear path then go down stairs, down stairs again, down stairs again, down stairs another time, down stairs again, IMMEADIATELY hug left wall to avoid starting final fight, hug left wall until you reach the door then enter and go left then right and heal/save.
AI Select Brandish OFF and magic OFF, keep Horn Thrust ON for Grantus, all magic off for Grantus and Claire Go back to the double door and go in to the middle of the room, cutscene, last boss FIRST PHASE wait for him to kill everyone. SECOND PHASE- start with everyone using an EVIL CHARM on themselves, use hurry with Mouse i think, then Grantus use Horn Thrust, and Claire will rez/heal with Mouse (Mouse and Claire should be in DEFENSE stance and Grantus in OFFENSE stance) Use Gigamin on Grantus if it’s safe and there’s a chance. Repeat until dead. Congrats on finishing!
