"DepotDownloader" is a third party software unaffiliated with Steam/Valve. Use at your own discretion

It is once again possible to downpatch games directly through Steam without the need of external software. To do so, follow this guide instead.

1. Download DepotDownloader and extract the files on your computer

2. Download and install dotnet 5.0 https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-5.0.10-windows-x64-installer

3. Create a text file in the folder where you extracted DepotDownloader and open it with your favorite text editor

4. Write the text below inside the file, replace USER and PASS by your Steam credentials and MANIFESTID by the manifestID of targeted patch found on that page

5. Rename your text file by changing the extension to .bat

6. Double click on your .bat file and wait for the game to download 6b. If you have "Steam Guard" you will receive a code by mail that you need to enter

7. You will find the game In the "depots" folder
