First attempt at the Normal difficulty Dungeon Hearts Speedrun. I went ahead and decided to request the game on speedrun.com as it is it's own unique game, and I hope that my commentary on this run really makes you want to speedrun this game. The mechanics are simple, yet hard to master, and there is plenty of optimizations that can be done with this run, but as with every game, you have to start somewhere, right? This is the first entry that I know of into Dungeon Hearts speedrunning, so I hope that many more runs are to come!
In terms of this run as a whole, it was very solid throughout the entire run, until the last few fights. Things really slowed down during the last four fights, which could've gone a lot shorter had I used some of the heros' abilities earlier, but I think my decision to use them on the final boss really helped to reduce the time and randomness that that boss has to offer. Anyways, many optimizations can be made, and hopefully there is more to come!
