for the past few months, any time livesplit auto updates (well really when a new update is available and the popup shows up), livesplit will crash as soon as the auto splitter starts. updating it through the app does not fix this, my only solution so far has been to download the latest version through the website every time and then open my splits and layouts from file and re-set all my global hotkeys. I don't understand if the problem is the auto splitter or livesplit or what, but I thought I'd start here. it's very inconvenient.

Are you using the autosplitter built into the splits editor or are you using an external autosplitter via the layout editor.
