Rules Update proposal [for Crimson Court only]

Hey there, I wanted to propose a discussion about updating the rules for the runs using the Crimson Court DLC.

All the runs (croc, fanatic) have specified in the rules that we only use the Crimson Court DLC and no other DLCs.

Thats fine and all, but I thought why would we disable the Flagellant? Sure, in the past he was pretty OP, but since CoM he has been tuned down quite a bit, so he is now a good, balanced hero (in my opinion at least). He is also actually part of the Crimson Court DLC - it is only that it is technically displayed ingame as another DLC, but has other than adding the flag no effect on the game itself (no hidden buffs/debuffs/etc.).

So my point is, could we allow the Flag to also be enabled for the Crimson Court runs? He wouldn't break anything and would actually give some more variety to us runners running :)

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this, as I thought it would be a good opportunity to change some more things up (in the face of moderator changes)

cheers

I think it makes sense to allow this for the Crimson Court runs (seeing as how the WR is based on a broken version of the game anyways). :D

If it truly doesn't seem to make a difference then we can give the ok for everywhere else.

The more I think about it, the only place where I can see it making a large difference is in Miller%. The Flagellant is an OP character there because of his self-heal abilities in longer battles. They weren't able to nerf that like they did with the Leper's focus ability (whatever it's called).

well, all his healing abilities (besides the heal over time) have only 2 and 3 uses per battle, ofc you can use shard dust to restore them, but that argument could be made for every other big ability that got the "limited uses per battle" treatment. Tbf I don't see him being OP in the Miller% run, you take a vestal anyway and the Miller has super high Bleed resist. He sure is strong in all the warrens runs, due to his strong bleeds probably but not too strong I think. ;)

We're changing the rules to allow the Flagellant in the Courtyard run. Thanks for the suggestion!
