[Verification policy]
Uppdaterad KellarOriented
av Verification Policy is created to unify awareness among moderators.
1. Eliminate emulators
- The moderator will decide whether an emulator was used or not.
- If there is any doubt as to whether an emulator is used, moderators may ask players about their playing environment.
- Moderators may reject previously verified records if the records were created by an emulator.
- Moderators will not disclose the criteria used to determine if an emulator is used.
2. Compliance with rules
[Full game]
・8 levels in order.
- OK : 12345678
- OK : 132345678 (but the record is hopeless)
- NG : 1345678
- NG : 13245678
・Secondary objectives
- Has the player completed the required number of secondary missions?
- In the case of normal or hard, the message "secondary objective complete" should be confirmed.
- In the case of blackops, it is sufficient if all of complete messages can be confirmed. However, if not, visual confirmation by the moderators may be necessary.
[Indivisual Levels]
・Secondary objectives
- Check mission complete screen
・When the player dies
- OK : "RESTART MISSION" on the PAUSE MENU or the MISSION FAILED screen.
- NG : "CONTINUE MISSION" on the MISSION FAILED screen.
3. Scrutiny
[Full game]
- If the timer is recorded along with the play screen, the moderator will basically trust it.
- If the timer is not recorded, the moderator will check the time based on the video's duration.
Recorded time = (time stamp at goal) – (time stamp at start)
- If the moderator finds that there is a gap between the submitted time and the actual gameplay time, the record may be corrected.
- If a record is submitted that beats first place by a small margin, the moderators may re-examine the current first place record.
[Indivisual Levels]
- The moderator will trust the time on the goal screen.
- The record with only the results screen will of course be rejected.
4. Verification period
- The moderator will process the application as soon as possible. However, please note that moderators will be given a 21-day grace period, as stated in the site rules.
Moderators are generally given 21 days to process run submissions.
It is not a requirement for moderators to verify all runs every time they visit the site, we understand people have lives.
- Even if you feel that the processing of your submission is slow, please do not submit a duplicate submission for the same record. It slows down the approval process because duplicate applications are checked.
5. Protecting the speedrunning community
- Users who engage in disruptive behavior will be banned from the community.
