Borderlands GOTY Enhanced speedrun from new game to credits. Played on PC using the current latest patch. Selected character: Lilith.

A couple of minutes improvement compared to my last run. There were several mistakes here and there which costed me some time. This run is under the 1h 26m Borderlands segmented speedrun I did. That was a cool goal to beat.

The Enhanced version of Borderlands gives you 2 legendary weapons from the start which can vary between a few times. For the purpose of this run I have a save file with a sniper rifle and a shotgun. The sniper rifle is important for the merging glitch because it has a lot of critical damage bonus, while the shotgun gives the best dps from all the starting legendaries. With these two weapons alone I go until Sledge without needing any other weapon.

The merging glitch is similar to what is done in Borderlands 2 and it adds all the critical hit damage bonuses from sniper rifles to your main gun. Ideally you want to find 2 other sniper rifles to complement the empty slots 3 and 4 but the legendary sniper you get from the beginning is enough to carry you through the entire speedrun.

Overall the run is very reliant on getting good loot from the chests at T-Bone Junction. I need about 150k money to setup the Merchant of Death experience exploit and that is possible to get in a single lucky chest. Getting it in 2 chests is very good still but on average it takes 3 chests.

Setting up the exploit takes some stamina because buying meds at the vendor requires me to spam the Enter key for more than 2000 times. I don't know how long my Enter key will survive this ?

ps.: I added a couple of minutes to final timer shown at the end of the video because the timer was paused in Sledge's Safehouse and Crimson Fastness.
