I'm asking this while i beat some levels for the first time, before i start running them more seriously. If i understand correctly, the timer on the end of IL runs shows not the latest run's time, but the player's PB on that level. The rules ask to see it before and after the run, so that the new PB time can be verified. But what if i get a very good run that isn't a PB and doesn't update the in-game timer? Is that acceptable to submit or do i need to get a PB in a recorded run to make it acceptable? I'm afraid of having to record every single practice session, since if the action of updating the timer is what makes a run count, then I couldn't risk missing a potential PB while grinding a level. Is there some way of displaying the in-game timer for the latest run that i'm missing?
