In NG+ all Stages, as in the other categories, the timer will start at startup after the screen to configure which character to select. Ends when Stage Clear is displayed
At the beginning and end of each run, the main screen where the version can be seen will have to be displayed. The player's level cannot be greater than 150 and weapons cannot be greater than 110 such as chips and cards, the 2 skills of the selected character cannot exceed level 30.
At the beginning and at the end the level of the character's skills as well as the weapons, chips and cards will also have to be shown.
Also the armor cannot exceed level 110 nor the improvements, the same must be shown at the beginning and end of the run.
The only thing that can be improved to the maximum are the skills outside the character.
glitches, out of bounds and macros are not allowed
Phase 1:
Phase 2:
Phase 3:
In NG you can use any character and weapon but the timer starts when selecting a new game and ends in Stage Clear when you kill ViA+ the entire Ending must be shown.
Glitches, out of bounds, macros, Cheat Engine or other external programs that may benefit the run are not allowed.
In NG+ at the beginning of the run the player's level does not have to pass level 150 but if they level up after passing the run it is still allowed.
In Boss Rush you will only have to kill the bosses of each Stage, which are 23. In this category, the mini-bosses that appear every 3 levels in each Stage are not counted, nor are the 5 of the Final Stage.
The individual levels will only be those that are in the RACE MODE.
For now they will be the rules.
Why make a player and weapon level cap? Some players might have save data beyond the one you've set because the one for the game is higher. Weapons can be reset, but the max player level is 200 and there is no way to lower it. Skills cap at 48. Players who have already progressed past these nonsense limits you set would have to restart their files to run NG+ categories and do all the grinding again from the beginning.

I personally think it would be better to add a "Capped" and "Uncapped" category if you want these to be the rules. Also a community vote for rules that add limitations to runners is usually the standard on the site. Programs like Cheat Engine along with Macros are covered by the Site Rules and dont need to be clarified. Banning Glitches seems odd without adding a sub category variable called Glitchless, but this isnt very important overall. It would be good to clarify a type of glitch since players currently might accidentally perform one and they would need to know which glitches are banned.
Also Category rules should be within the category rules themselves as to not double state rules. Game Rules are usually rules that cover every category. Otherwise you can just attach NG rules to the NG Variable and same for NG+
Just my 2 cents. I hope you all have a great day!
Regarding the level of the character and weapons, a category is added with the maximum level and that's it, what a problem.
The saving thing is easy, you save a separate game and play with the automatic save game. I don't know in which folder the game save is saved because I spent 2 hours looking for it and couldn't find it to add it to the resources.
What is the reason for having the level cap in the first place? There were no reasons in the rules. All weapons get all their skills by level 80 and level doesn't affect challenge mode so it doesn't seem to make sense.
The reason is because otherwise it would be very easy.
ViA+ does not last at all since this weapon is level 110.
But the strange thing is that with this one I think it kills him faster.
So just for curiosity if a particular Character and Weapon combination kill the boss too fast will that level cap go down?
Also, level doesn't affect Challenge mode, only Normal mode, so why would there be a level cap for that?
No, if not, why would I put NG+?
For that I would add a subcategory with each weapon in the game.
The board is already very cluttered because of the character split which I still think is not needed. And you equip two weapons, not one, so that doesn't make sense to make subcategories for.
For that I would add a separate category just with the challenge mode.
Because it doesn't cost me anything to grab and create another category apart from just the challenge mode with a subcategory of all the characters and Stages apart, not like other moderators of many games who are asked to add GLITCHLESS and don't add it because they only run with glitches.
Just in case I'm going to put an Any% and glitchless subcategory in case any glitch is discovered.
I meant that if there were runs I wouldn't be able to find them because I would have no clue where they are when there is 1100+ Sections to go through to find it. Also the board said there is a 8 minute run at the top right.
I understand that now. But if I was looking for this run I would have to potentially look through 29000+ boards to find it.
That would be the normal way to search for it because you can easily enter from here.
Art Izon here with an update on the leaderboard.
- The board is now open for runs.
- All levels have been added, including Events.
- An Events category has been added.
- Rules have been updated. Let me know if anything's unclear and I'll add it or amend what's there.
Still determining a good i
