It just seems redundant; if you get a record with a pitchfork for example, you'd submit it to All Weapons and then Pitchfork category.

We've had this posted before (we deleted it cause it's a dumb suggestion) but to answer it again..

We are NOT going to remove an entire category for multiple reasons, but here are a few!

1. All weapons is the SECOND most popular category with it currently containing 59 runs on it. #1 is Long Axe btw!
2. All weapons are for ALL WEAPONS. If you don't like that one weapon is better than others, pick between the NINE other categories in NoDeath%, or run 100%, 1st Person%, or Gauntlet%!
3. If you get a record with Pitchfork, you submit the run to ONLY ONE OF THE BOARDS. We do not allow dupe runs.
4. If people are mad about one weapon being at the top of the boards, just go and break the record with another weapon! That's the fun of speedrunning.

People keep getting pissed off because "Oh the pitchfork is so broken it's overpowered it should be banned" and keep trying to get it banned because they used a weapon they didn't like. Is the weapon good? Yes! Is it broken to the point where you can't beat it or die from it? GOD NO! You can EASILY get your shit rocked by using a pitchfork because if the poking method doesn't work, you're screwed! And despite popular belief, it's easy to kill an opponent that's using a pitchfork if you know what you're doing. If the weapon was actually as broken as people keep making it out to be, then yeah, we'd ban it. But it's NOT, you guys just keep making a fuss about it.

To be honest, it's annoying at this point, and any future requests for stuff like that will be removed. We gave you guys separate categories for a reason. Use them, or don't, we aren't getting rid of them.
