In Super Drift 3D, there are 5 cars: the Lan Evo, FC, Skyline, AE86, and the Testarossa. They are categorized by Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert.
Similarities:
All cars in Super Drift 3D have the same amount of gears (5), redline (starts at 7000 RPM, ends at 9000 RPM), and top speed (160 mph @ 5th gear, 9000 RPM). However, you can go above the top speed with downhills, drift boosts, etc.
Acceleration:
For acceleration, I used Neon Good Times and checked the top speed when the car accelerates from the start line and slams into the wall of the first corner.
The slowest is the AE86, slamming into the wall at 123 mph.
The second slowest is the FC, slamming into the wall at 126 mph.
The Lan Evo and Skyline are moderate, both slamming into the wall at 131 mph.
The Testarossa is the fastest, slamming into the wall at 142 mph.
Here is a video comparing the acceleration of Super Drift 3D cars.
Drift Boosts:
The AE86 is the only car able to perform drift boosts, which involves drifting for long enough for orange smoke to appear, giving a boost and an audible voice, telling you that you got a boost. Drifting in other cars will have an audible voice, but will not give a boost.
Recommendations:
For those who know how to drift well, I would recommend the AE86 because though it has slow acceleration, it makes up for it with drift boosts. However, for those who aren't used to the drifting mechanics, I would recommend the Testarossa because it has the fastest acceleration of all the cars. The Testarossa could also be useful on Coastal City, where there might not be enough room to build up a drift boost.
