#Basic controls: X: Accelerate O: Brake □: Switch between vehicle/mech □ when speed is at least 160 km/h in vehicle: Stronger dash attack/Gun dash(?) L1: Drift left R1: Drift right Start: Pause Select: Switch between progress and arrow displays

#Bike-specific: Hold ↑ when at speed cap: Continue to accelerate beyond the normal speed cap, max speed is around 300 km/h while held

Briefly hold X + O while stopped, then release O: Triggers Rocket Start Dash, which gives you a boost in speed when timed properly.

Notes: Bike Mode has the highest speed, but poor handling and stability. Even being grazed by an attack will fling the rider out the bike, costing precious time and Anergy. Only use in safe/straightforward sections or if you're confident that you will be able to avoid enemy attacks.

#Rally-specific: Notes: Rally Mode has excellent handling, stability, and acceleration. A good "safe" option for treacherous sections. Switching to Rally while spinning out in Bike Mode stabilizes you immediately.

Hold O + ↓: Reverse

#Mech-specific: △: Melee ↓ ↑ during Gun Dash: Extends Gun Dash, but forced to come to a stop at the end of the animation. Completely invincible while active. Tap X: Short dash Hold X: Accelerate (limited by overheat bar) Hold ↓ + X: Dash backwards Hold O: Shield Hold O then press △: Shoot gun Hold O then press X OR ↑ ↑ + X: Jump Hold O then press X while holding ↓: Jump backwards △ during jump: Air attack Hold X during jump: Hover (uses up overheat meter) Tap ↓ ↑ + △: Gun Weapon (Special attack) (requires at least 1 bar of G-Power) ↑ ↑ ↑ + △: G-Magna (Super dash) (requires at least 3 bars of G-Power) -- Press O + a direction during G-MAGNA: Change direction Tap ↓ ↑ + △ after either Gun Weapon or G-MAGNA: Chained Gun Weapon attack? (requires 1 bar of G-Power)

Notes: The mech form has the lowest speed cap, decent handling, and decent stability (certain enemy attacks or obstacles will result in a knockdown). The Gun Dash will provide a bit more "super armor", but electric barriers will still knock you down unless you use an Extended Gun Dash. The mech form is also the only form capable of combat, so you will be using it a lot during boss fights. Guns can be viable against regular enemies, but in most boss fights, are only useful for staggering or flinching the boss. Your main source of damage will be via dashes/Gun Dashes, although melee attacks are occasionally useful.

#Misc. Notes:

  • Ami initially does not possess a super dash, and instead activates some sort of "feral mode". After Stage 5, this feral mode is replaced with the standard super dash.
  • Ippei and Nouno's jump attacks use their guns, which does not inflict damage against bosses.
  • Ami's jump attack results in a dive kick, an attack that CAN damage bosses.
  • Each character has different properties for their extended Gun Dash:
    • Ippei's seems to have the ability to home in on near by enemies. Can clip through certain obstacles.
    • Ami's has the widest horizontal range, but it is more difficult to use it to clip through obstacles. Damage seems greater at the wings.
    • Nouno's has the narrowest range, but the longest forward reach. Damage seems inconsistent, however. Can either be the strongest or weakest of the EGD's. Can clip through certain obstacles.
  • Gun Special Attack strength: Ippei >> Ami >? Nouno (Requires further testing)
  • Ippei has a G-Power cap of 3, Nouno has 5, and Ami has 9

Note: There seems to be a way to recover from a knockdown in mech form earlier, but I don't know the exact command at the moment.
