3. Obtaining (Mostly) Infinite Lives

As a community, we decided that lives shouldn't be a factor when Speedrunning Project 06. Therefore, unless it is a 100% category, you are allowed to use a save that has (mostly) infinite lives. There are 2 ways to do this that doesn't require grinding 1-ups in the game for hours:
- Download a Save File from the Speedrun Database (Link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UR6Nldhh-Wt5s8sscHP7fFb7Hd56pILdcMiGMmYuNXk/edit?usp=sharing). Details on how to add/replace/remove saves are outlined in the "Setting up Sonic Project 06 for Speedrunning" guide.
- Using Cheat Engine to add lives on your own save. Sly Sonic created a tutorial on this, which you can find below
