Any% No Major Glitches: Jet Run Route Guides by Zim

This guide includes 3 routes. All play the same levels except Beginner where you do Timer-Switch Dash. Each tier builds on the previous to help players progress. Below you'll find each tier, a slideshow for each one + blank splits with icons, badge switch + recommended purple coin counts before each shop. # Beginner

For anyone new to the category + Jet Run badge. Aim is to be a zero-stake introduction to the Jet Run badge.

**Key factors:** The route plays Timer-Switch Dash over buying a seed in World 3 which allows for lenient flower coin routing. It's completable without tech like infinite bubble jumps + doesn't rely on powerup management outside of Bulrush Express.

## Advanced

For anyone who has done an Any% NMG run + is familiar with Jet Run. This includes difficult tricks while being low-reset to help players finish runs.

**Key factors:** The route buys the World 3 seed + skips Timer-Switch Dash. It has a 15 flower coin buffer with backup coins listed. Route has minimal power-up management allowing players to take hits without needing to reset the level.

For anyone who has done several Jet Run Any% NMG runs. This includes all difficult tricks for top times.

**Key factors:** The route buys the World 3 seed + skips Timer-Switch Dash. It has a 5 flower coin buffer with backup coins listed. Some of the power-up management timesaves include Early World 2 Elephant + World 3 Elephant.

How to Manage Saves

# Prerequisites

- Homebrewed Switch with Atmosphère Custom Firmware [(Tutorial)](https://switch.hacks.guide)
- A digital/physical copy of the game
- A PC to transfer files to the Switch

## Installation

- Get the latest [JKSV.nro](https://github.com/cathery/sys-ftpd/releases) -> extract it to /switch/ on the SD card. Use a [FTP server](https://github.com/cathery/sys-ftpd/releases), or connect the SD card to your PC then eject it after.
- Extract saves to /JKSV/Super Mario Bros. Wonder/. Find them [here](https://www.speedrun.com/smbw/resources/skwnz).

## Save Management

Open JKSV using either method:

- Holding the R button while starting any app (Recommended to allocate more memory)
- Applet mode with the Album

Press A on the user you want to manage a save for -> find Wonder's game icon.

### Backup

Press A on "New Backup" + name this what you want. Put it someplace on your PC; the saves are kilobytes big!

### Restore

Press Y on the backup you want to restore -> hold A.

### Overwrite

Press A on the backup you want to overwrite -> hold A.
