So, here is the link to several videos of BBG setups. The titles basically describe then. The -X.XX is referring to wait on title screen without saving any "hard" framerules like FPG, 1-2g, fast 4-2, etc. 539 on pellson (optimal)
540 on pellson (optimal)
541 on pellson (un-optimal)
542 on pellson. You do not need to hit the koopa for this one, but I think it's easier to hit him then to jump around anyway. (optimal)

That +.7 rule is exciting. Didn't know that was possible. I've been on this pace MANY times, and it'd be nice to have a chance at the shot, Good work.
this is extremely helpful. thanks @KingOf_JonnyBoy and thanks also for walking me through each of these BBG setups recently during my stream.
It's unoptimal, so it would only get you back to +0.3. You'd still have to do 1f WJ @Darpey
Ooooh - it would help if you edited the original post to indicate whether the setup is the optimal or sub-optimal shot
@EndCubing Theoretically yes, but in order to make that framerule you have to play the whole level literally perfectly with 0 frames for error.
8-2 is way more difficult. You have to do perfect fast accel, hit the very front of the bill, and to the pipe jump perfectly. You have to tap left for the pipe, so doing it optimally is nearly impossible. 8-1, is normally played perfectly anyway, so you just do fast accel, play the level normally, do a left-right shuffle, jump at the right angle and do pole inputs.
Doing a perfect pipe jump and then a perfect bullet bill bop is probably a bit harder than 8-1 FPG, the left right shuffle is perfect inputs, just like doing pipe jump perfectly and then setting up bullet bill perfectly. Doing pipe jump perfectly and perfect bullet bill setup is a few more perfect inputs so it's probably a bit harder, but we haven't legitimately tried to save those framerules yet so we don't really know how hard it is.
Effective immediately, any submissions using the SNES9x emulator will not be verified. The SMB1 mod team has concerns about its integrity due to its ability to overclock and remove lag frames, which may not be easily detectable. Additionally, we request that all BizHawk submissions avoid using the S
