This run is pretty fun, perfect speedrun if you have a podcast or something at the same time and there's still a lot of strategy to work on. Some notes on the strategy for those who come after me:
- I pick "Men of the west" instead of "Night elves" as the night elves have 2 of the easiest fights while the men of the west can build stacks on you if you're unlucky. I also find it easier to stack swords + spears than archers + spears, the archers are just so bad if you missplay while swords are always ok.
Undead are an interesting faction choice, very strong early with the +3 halberds however they dont stack that well with spears so the 2nd half of the run will be spear only which can be hard.
South orcs i tried briefly, with the advantage of not having to fight them and the easy to stack axe throwers, however the investment into axe throwers may be too big of a cost so it's hard to time it right.

I have no real "set route" as im not sure what is the best right now, im not sure how much gold you can expect from each fight. General guide is to take out medium difficulty fights first, easy fights if you are near an armor upgrade powerspike, then high difficulty fights (demons, night elf capital and blue human capital) when you have a spike in power. Save the "free", super easy fights for last, the 2 night elf cities that spam scouts and the troll city that spams giants that you just send spears spread around.

I know scouts can speed up battles by sending them on the edges near the end of a round, could save around 5 seconds if executed well. Easy to mess up and also upgrades are more important for actually winning the fights quickly, but im almost certain there's a timesave picking them up even if it's just near the end of the run (although i suspect you can pick them up sooner if you route it out).
Record is still very beatable just by copying my strategy, quite a lucky run though but my menuing isn't that good.
