Over the past couple of days, I have been looking for a way to make the Cheshire typing segment easier, since typing the word and quickly pressing the button is very difficult. While doing so, I have found a number of useful keybind opportunities, ranging from "little setting in Windows" to "breaks the entire point of the segment". I am going to list these in (my) order of "game-breaking-ness". Please let me know which ones are allowed. If the rules permit, I would like them all to be allowed, but that is unlikely.
-
Windows accessibility setting which binds "5" on the number pad to left click
-
Binding Enter to 5 to make Enter click the mouse button
-
Binding "zxcvbn" to "chesir" (same as below but avoids binding 2 keys to 1 input)
-
Binding "zxcvbnm," to "cheshire" or similar to make it easier to type
-
Binding one single key to type the word "cheshire" (this circumvents the no copy/paste rule and is very ridiculous, but possible)
Thank you for your consideration and have a great day.
I was looking for a way to skip the Clockey fight even with the password, intending to use it in FullDemo% (the only category in which it applies). I was trying to enter my inventory while walking up to Clockey, then exit and start another interaction. I was able to enter my inventory, but exiting seemed to leave no time to start a new interaction. It is possible that I am wrong about this and there is a small window, so let me know if you find anything. Anyways, I got one attempt where I entered my inventory after walking further than usual. However, this resulted in a softlock since the Clockey cutscene state of being unable to click any other buttons still applied. The X, escape, and the plunger all did nothing when clicked. Let me know if you find any other way this can be used.
