I found something really similar to this awhile ago, if you beat the level but then fall out of the sky and die, when you respawn it will have the death screen and timer won't move.

Is DOSBox allowed for running or do I have to use the joeQuake sourceport since I'm not natively running dos?

I made a few aliases for casual play so when I press middle mouse button down, it does +jump and +forward, then when I release mmb it does -jump and -forward. Here is the bind and aliases: alias +bj "+jump; +forward" alias -bj "-jump; -forward" bind mouse3 +bj

But wouldn't anyone be able to cap it at the same rates? I thought uncapping it would make it hardware dependent because people who's computers run at lower fps would have an advantage.
