Ok wassup everyone, I'm here because I want to ask a question to the mods. What emulators are allowed? I have ran this game once with a time on the leaderboards so I'm not completely clueless but the emulator I use is nostalgia.nes on a Chromebook. So just wondering if emulators like nostalgia.nes are allowed? I mean, Nestopia and FCEUX are probably. Just wondering for the mods. Thanks! (I'm asking this because I don't see a rule on emulators.)
hey i have an idea! Maybe there should be a category extension on the ce boards where you speedrun smb1 on g&w. Its a lot better at fussing about adding g&w as a platform to play on and its better making it its own category on the main board. Personally, I think this is a good category but its only a suggestion if the mods don't want to add it then they don't have to add it.

Hey everyone I just saw Pensrock_12's tournament today and thought why not I hold one so I'm starting one. Just for some info: Allowed platforms are NES and Emulator (NESClassic is ok, but this is just Classic SMB1, No All-Stars). And also, there is no registering so if you wanna participate in it just DM me here on SRC or on Discord and I will add you. If anyone wants to request a platform I'll happily add it. And also there is going to be 8 people in it so there will be a quarter-final, semi, and final. Thanks! Also, idek if promoting tournaments is allowed. Wow, I made this thread long.
this emulator might not be accurate as the world record holders can all do it in the fastest time of a 370/369 so this one might be faster timing

Alright so I requested a game a week ago and it still hasen't been accepted nor declined (no response). I know your supposed to be patient for your request but the thing is another time I requested a game and it only took 20 minutes until I got a response of it being accepted. So does this have to do with the holiday traffic of the site currently or what? Please let me know.
How come theirs even a set seed for each category, theirs no real seeds you can use it just depends what the game spawns for you.
