Just listing off some of the suggestions I'd do.
1, Reposting the run in case admin ain't aware of the notices.
2, Reposting to some of the threads in the forum in case / hope that someone can notify the admins for registering the time.
3, I don't give them a ¤¤¤¤ cuz it doesn't change the fact that I did all of this myself.

@Racingmonster But can you do it for speedrun purpose ? I doubt that...
... To go to toilet for peeing after pausing the game to make myself more glued to the gaming ? Oo
Nah just kidding, but as a speedrunner who gives it a try occasionally, if not too "often", I'm super careful of doing following things if you hope to gun for a good result at the end :
1, Check out the route you're going to take / locations of all the enemies you are going to face with. Since speedrunning requires you to squeeze yourself to beat the game as fast as possible without doing anything that turns out futile at the end, it's crucially important to search for any possible route / strategies that saves you the utmost amount of time. It's out of question to pull off the best result or much less "to be better at it" without understanding what you're going to do beforehand in my opinion.
2, How you're going to defeat the enemies in the inevitable battles against them the game yields you at times. If you're planning to do a speedrun in an action / horror game it's equally as much significant for you to get to know how you're going to beat such "unavoidable" foes as quickly as possible, as making yourself familiar with the possible fastest route which guides you to the finish line in the shortest period of time. Making any blunders in the strategies you found out for tackling against those enemies in advance doesn't do any good to your result time either.
3, Finally and probably most important thing - to relax yourself. The game play can sometimes become longer and like any of the other sort of "gameplay" considered to be "demanding" (No damage run or knife only run in Resident Evil games, for instance), it gives you extreme tension and you must not let your attention go off during your game play in any way. I'd just recommend to sit back for a while to get back to your seat before actually giving it an attempt if you feel you're not ready to do the speedrun for some reason.
(P.S. Agghh, if you feel like you want to go pee in the toilet it's time to go there but BEFORE turning on your console, seeking for a pee bottle on halfway your playthrough after pausing the game ain't even worthy of contemplation in my case. :p )
I doubt there are people who are free of all the problems in whatever stuff in their life, people should have at least one or two problems in something they have to care for, no matter how serious / trivial for you to face with in a certain haul. But I think one's life also at times tests one's own "capability" of enduring these challenging things somehow.
As Yajiji already said above it's the best idea to try to resolve the issues by trying to "alter" something in your life because it's sometimes necessary to do some sacrifices if you truly wish things would go as you wished for sure, but I think to whatever outcome it might lead you, it's important to not give up downright. Some things can turn advantageous to you by chance as time rolls by (the problems might become smaller, you get more courage to deal with them etc) so waiting for those opportunities to befall upon you is another choice if you think you are not ready for overcoming it at first hand. ^^
I don't have that many number of video games and recently I only mainly play Resident Evil games, so from the perspective of a person who's fond of the games of the series I can point out the following factors for sure, as far as I'm aware of "how to miserably ruin a whole run of speedrun": ↓
1, Getting hit by the enemies you encountered on your way to the destination multiple times, if not only "once" or "twice" which loses you only some SECONDS instead of minutes - yet if you were striving to achieve an extraordinarily good record that moment, one such mistake of being grabbed by zombies, ganados, majinis / getting hurt by other creatures where you are supposed to get past as fast as possible by running past them etc. can be much more fatal than you anticipate it could be. :(
2, Getting stuck at several sections of the game by failing to solve the puzzles quickly, this is also as much crucial as being assailed by the enemies for some reason. In some of the games of the series it's all up to luck you have if you can get the things done without any delay or not, if you couldn't figure out the answer in the first try it's time to restart the game all over from the scratch which in some cases can make the whole game an unbearable task to pull off.
3, When you failed to go the fastest route possible with minimum number of items in your inventory, in earlier games of Resident Evil you can carry with you only 8(or less with some characters) items thus it's extremely significant to set your mind on which item you are going to pick up in advance before actually beginning a run, as well as the route to choose which saves you the maximum number of seconds / minutes it allows you to do so.
4, Naturally, when you failed to defeat the boss creatures in the fastest way with as much a marginal number of attacks / bullet-pumpings as possible - And in fact this can be the TRICKIEST part of the game at times when it comes to doing a "speedrun" where you're required to beat the game, literally, as promptly as possible. You surely need some amount of luck to not let the enemies fall upon you instantly / all of a sudden while you're still engaged in attacking the boss enemy with your fire arms.
I've made an attempt in a speedrun of Separate Ways of Resident Evil 4 several times already, in some runs I could beat Osmund Saddler(that's the LAST boss) immediately with the salvo of Chicago Typewriter within 20 seconds or two, whereas in some runs it took me more than 2 ~ 3 minutes just to knock him off with the same manner and it can easily get so frustrating because it wasn't me who was at fault but the game that kept me from achieving my goal in the most wicked way at the very end, obviously. :-( At times I feel sorry that I can't have any of the control over it, but I do accept we need that in a run you're going to give a try all the same as it is what makes the run more thrilling and the entire challenge more "challenging" worth you to ponder how to beat the game for some while / trying out some different strategies in order to seek for the best one which allows to get the challenge done in the most consistent way. :)
@Anderson_Ferreira Oi Anderson, bem vindo ao foro de speedrun.com, cara :D :) ficou muito legal pra te ter aqui tambem
I do remember Derek Taylor(who was one of the most notable speedrunners in RE4) was saying somethings about the tips on Del Lago fight in one of his videos on YT, but can't remember exactly what that was... :/
Welcome to the speedrun. com - same here so would be nice if we two could keep doing our best together ;)
Favorite speedrunners ? Hm I'd point out Derek Taylor or CarcinogenSDA as the ones who often go around playing Resident Evil games, but basically I welcome anyone who is good at it - regardless of their play styles and where they come from. ;)
Speedrun techniques applicable to other stuff in my real life?
Meh, I guess they ain't of much use thus far as what I have to deal with is quite different from what I have to do in a video-game speedrun, and besides being able to settle things as fast as possible doesn't necessarily mean a good thing to do :p
@Lance_ Your girlfriend would be discouraged at you that you didn't give her the moment for coming.
@Danschemen it's not gonna make much sense but yeah would be if you do it in a speedrun I guess.
Welcome to the speedrun.com community, dude ! :)
@zellpree Without using the infinite enemy respawns it's somewhere like ~1,200 enemies if my memory serves me rightly (I've seen a video of a Japanese player named divergentF giving it a try actually and the result said like 1210 or two total kills at the end), would be more if you use the infinite spawning glitches in chapter 3-2(in the gallery), in Salazar battle in 4-4 or at military camp in 5-4 of course, though.
P.S. Is there any way to quote other people's posts on this speedrun.com forum ?
I suppose we can just do that for satisfying ourselves rather than for trying to achieve anything exceptional... But no matter if there were any of the "indicators" of such ~% 's in everything like in Resident Evil Outbreak I won't really care as they don't have much to do with the result that just shows about "how you did" and "how good you were" in that run - we can beat the game without collecting all the treasures, and all of the enemies you encounter, and it's not that important as long as we can do that just for earning pesetas which is a voluntary thing to do. But showing the hit ratio, total time and number of deaths is essential as the indicator showing how well you did in that run so I guess what's probably why such kind of options are omitted in the result screen or on the leaderboards. :(
As Outrage already said, yes the main difference in the Separate Ways between different consoles are mainly the controls and specially the loading time it takes the game to load when you go into another area. If you play on Wii I think the loading time is a tad slower than PS3 version and Xbox360 which are both much faster so if you want a better time (finish the main scenario in sub-25 minutes or so, for instance) then those two consoles are a good bet in my opinion. :)
As for the controls I can't really say which one is the best because it totally depends on your likings to judge which one is precisely the best one to use, but I'd say if you're used to the control with GC controller I'd recommend you to play on Wii, you can use the controller in place of the default wii controller after turning on the console and proceeding on the main screen on the game. Though I'm not sure if we can play SW with GC controller too or not...
Around a year ago by watching videos of some players doing the speedruns of the main scenario of Resident Evil 4 and Separate Ways ;)
Why do I like doing speedrunning stuff ? Hm because it gives me tension to test myself how far I'm capable of doing my tasks in extreme conditions where speed is everything, which is obviously different and you can never feel solely by doing some chores normally without taking heed of the clear time at the end. And especially, as the biggest reason for that is, the motivation to endeavor to improve my records over and over to the maximum with my utmost attempt, and by doing so I felt like I could learn how important to stay patient in doing something arduous as long as possible, which is significant in doing other things other than getting monumental video game records, aside from being able to mingle with others who also are avid speedrunners and compete with each other with their own time which also boosts the motivation of those engaged in doing the speerunning.
And nah, I'm not saying because I have no life of course, but it's quite a treat for me ;))
