The run is listed at a 6:04 which is what the on-screen timer in the video says, but retiming it using the proper rules (start on first frame of green pixels starting round 1, end on first frame of black after suitcase) using this website gives me a time of 6:02.083 (Start Frame: 758, End Frame: 9448, FPS: 24, Total Time: 6:02.083)
I'm thinking about picking this game up for speedruns, but I'm not sure of the rules. Are they the same or similar to Stage 7 AAX?
I've decided to keep the game's leaderboards to IL's only until it is announced that no more levels will be added to the base game. You're welcome to post your full game runs in the forums if you wish, but a leaderboard is hard to do with new levels being added.
Don't ask why. It was fun
I'm interested in running AWAN and I was wondering if the "Speedrunning tips and tricks" guides from Alan Wake were any good? What's different for optimal movement in this game that's different from AW? How many tricks carry over?
Should we have any% glitchless and any% or should we make variables? I honestly have no idea because if we make more categories it might be hard to find exactly what you are looking for.
Can someone test if it's faster to bunny hop, run, or hover? I'd do it myself but i dont have time. On top of level 7 would work well for tests. Thanks in advance!
Not sure how it would work, but there should be a speedrun.com app. If that's not possible for whatever reason, at least make a mobile version of the site.
I've done a run of Minecraft Windows 10 beta: I call the category IGDLRC. Time starts at first input and stops when you have the following items in your inventory: Iron Ore Gold Ore Diamond Lapis Redstone Coal
There is currently no way to beat MC Windows 10 beta, so this is what I came up with. I found a seed and routed it. I'm not sure if this should count as a separate category or a separate game (Like console), but I enjoyed routing it and it makes for a fun speedrun. If you add this mod me so I can keep it in check.
