Hi, just wondering the same. Can i start a timer on phone amd submit it, and give my time with the submission?
Hi all,
Probably a dumb question, so apologies. My pc crapped itself, so im stuck with the ps4 for now. That means i wont have a visible timer on the screen, as i will be just going straight through Twitch. Does there need to be a visible timer for this? If so i cam just practice until my new pc is built Thanks in advance! Deadguy
Thanks man, appreciate that. Its the nes mini and nes controller so hopefully its ok. One question is the minus time do you set your timer to so as not to affect the start of the game, and when do you start the timer?
Is that 50% of the bosses life? Thats good to know
Hey All!
New to the community here. So i know emulators are allowed for runs, but i just want to be sure, can you run Kung Fu if you added it to the NES mini with hatchi? I pressume so, irs the same thing, but runs at 60fps.
Thanks in advance
Justin
Hey All,
Do NES mini and Nes emulator runs count? Decided this as my first speedrun project, so gonna start grind.
Also, im only stsrting my setup, so need to upgrade to windows 10, so do you need records of practice runs and stuff?
Nice to meet you all anyway dudes and dudettes!

Appreciate that man, i guess the nes mini would be handier to hook up to a cpu for twitch too?
Is the NES mini allowed? The official Nintendo one?
Hi! I joined today too. Everyone here seems super chill and are all really helpful ☺️ Good luck with the runs!
Just wondering if anyone has thought of creating an app as an alternative to going on the site?
Probably a dumb question.. Why do you need OBS if streaming to twitch, as Twitch auto saves your streams..
Thank you so much, golden info!
I only plan on running NES games, so thats why i asked about the laptop, no need splurging on a gaming pc haha
Do you use Obs? And is that neseccary if you are streaming on Twitch?
Hey dudes and dudettes!
Im Justie from Ireland. Love watching speedruns on twitch, so caught the bug and decided in the new year to try my hand at speedrunning some games. Im totally new to this so please be kind to my stupid questions.
- I plan on speed running NES Emus, you recommend USB nes troller or original one?
- Would a laptop with 4gb of ram be ok to stream NES emus and twitch?
- Is Streamlabs recommended?
- Best split timer?
I hopefully dont annoy with with those stupid questions :(
