speaking of we need an extra tag for illiterate people who cant read rules.
@Komrade what do you mean potentially cheated? if cheaters get marked and moderators notified i would check the runs. if there arent to many. and i didnt talk about repeated offence.
Also i generally run boards where its more than hard to properly cheat, its mostly not bothering to read the rules. i wouldnt remove all the runs if the person cheated. (still check though)
if somebody cheated they should get a ban as punishment to rethink it, doesnt have to be a perma ban. I dont think all times should be removed that should be the descission of the communities of the affected games. just automatically removing everything takes that descission away. Also full deletion makes it way easier for many to just change to an alt.
if it is aviable to moderators in games you have runs in, you might as well make it puplically aviable.you either dont care when it comes out. and when you care its so big news that it will spread.
and i might add this is already the most relevant post on src ever
virgin leaderboard mod collection vs chad leaderboard ban collection
wait is servered steel now marked as an add and removed by addblocker?
wait i can cheat without getting perma banned? without even stripping my moderation of games away?
interesting
jokes aside, ohio is now as broken as bavaria? nice to not be alone.
can i also say "still relevant" or is only matse allowed to point that out?
a boycott does nothing besides piling up work for a week. most of the traffic is outside use. people which dont have to deal with internal site problems.
i am just saying, go all out or nothing, a boykott doesnt do more than our constant complaining.
you know i talk about setting a variable to hide the runs, not wrecking. everyone has to do one additional click to see the runs. and they really cant replace the mod teams of many big games.
i agree with your statement btw.
like i said: "if most big boards" do it. they cant purge all 🤷. i see this as a union perspective: yes striking was originally not allowed, but it was done anyways and lead to improvment of working conditions. and honestly just forming a larger agreement under leaderboard mods to be willing to do it is as effective as doing it. and considering they broke laws about advertisement in some countries. breaking the moderation rules isnt that bad :KEK: especially because for some leaderboards they are anyways just treated like guidelines.
dare there are only that many one letter names. also variable fuckup is better. if it would need to be done.
