Heya.
Getting a video If you livestreamed it to Twitch (which I've seen you do a few times), you can highlight it using the highlight tool on Twitch. You can find it in the video editor. After highlighting, there is an option to upload it to YouTube if you so wish. Grab either the YouTube URL or Twitch URL.
If you local recorded or just recorded the video, you can upload that to either YouTube or Twitch, same way.
Submitting a run On the leaderboards itself, press "Submit run" in the top right and fill in all the details. The time, platform, date of PB, video file, splits (Via splits.io, this is not required in any way), and a message to the moderators if needed. Or just "FIRST RUN. Boss 2 was bad" etc.
After that, us moderators are going to look at the submission and either verify it if everything was done according to the rules, reject it (with proper feedback), or re-time it if needed.
I hope this helped :)
Should probably create seperate leader boards for the pc version
Videos would be more interesting, and nowadays where everyone has a camera in their pocket and DKCR having replays, I don't see why a video can't be made by anyone :p.
However, a picture of a TV with DKCR on it would do as proof-calling in my eyes. This is open to debate, but this is how I see it :]
That's a net boost jump, not a net cancel :).
You're kind of right, the timing for PAL (which is what the HD version is).
The timing is indeed very specific, and squid made a video regarding that a whole ago.
I hope this helps. It doesn't work the same since it's easier on JP (and NTSC, idk) but at least kind of similar. Even I have problems with the pal boost jumps.
Alrighty, no hotel needed :D
Everyone at the bottom floor got a sign, since most complaints came from there.
You don't need to record the gamepad screen, since all the real action is on the screen.
If you are interested... -You can either record it with a webcam (not recommended) -Get a capture board from 3dsvideocapture.com
The latter option is pretty expensive, and voids your warranty. So... recommended is to just record your WiiU gameplay.
Did you install ios36? Or whichever was needed?
For Gamecube specifically, there are 2 options.
You can either google for Nintendospy, and there is a thing for it. You need to be handy with soldering if you want to make it work.
Alternatively, my friend ZZattack creates an input display device called a Munia that he can sell. If you want one aswell, consider asking Powderedmilk (@srlmilk on twitter) towards buying one.
Yes, your Pateron donation will go there, as it's stated on the Patreon page.
Having a series mod for a series that encompasses 90 games strikes me as a terrible idea by default.
This is the exact reason why mega series like Mario, Zelda and of course Disney, it's impossible to know enough about even 50% of the games, that's why there are no series mods. Obviously, you have series where it does work, where the series (kirby for example) are moderated by 2 people who run 60%+ of the games, 1 super meme who cares about his speedrun-resume and, another guy whom I don't know :]
Edit: I love how I shifted to another sentence in the first one, hope the points still comes across
Oh boy he's another... idk what do you call people that care about number of runs/moderating the highest amount of instead of quality :o
097@ Reminder that this is a last resort thread. It's expected of you to contact havrd first before coming here.
Uhm... Beign in second would mean there's only 1 person better than you in speedrunning that game/category. Ideally you would train until you're better and grab that first place away! Make it difficult for ruunix to get his 1st place back :3
Heyo,
If you feel like there should be a different category, by all means, propose it here. In a game like Goat Simulator, everything is possible.
@Mchan Have you asked the current leaderboard mods? They both logged in in the last half hour, ewaller has twitter even. This is a last resort thread like Token mentioned 20 hours ago, not a way to get mod status behind the community's back.

@Trollbear666 Jumpy is a meme and probably dislikes Cyberdemon
@Token Even leaderboard creators can remove themselves from the position as moderator from a leaderboard. But yeah, forcefully it has to be done by a site mod. I'm inclined to remove myself from a certain leaderboard, as soon as I find a runner (at all) who's capable of doing that. I've given mod powers to someone else before upon request, but he wanted the game in his collection of leaderboards. Not what I invisioned ffzbramzW
