Hello, I'm new to speed running but recently I decided to speed run this game after playing it causally again for fun. I've had this game since I was a kid and always really liked it.

Anyway, I feel like I have a good grasp on most of the game except one part: the directional head stones in chapter 3 of the game, the one with the witch doctor. From what I can tell, it seems like there's some sort of randomization or perhaps a different sets of patterns that can be discerned from specific clues (i.e. the first head stone is facing North so the pattern is North, West, South or something similar). I'm not sure how to find out and I don't know any of the patterns or anything so often I'm having a good run and then this part just kills it. Does anyone have any information or could point me towards some information that helps explain this section?
