From what I could find, the famicom with the text label should be it, should be from 1982 as well I believe. That's the best I've got honestly.
All being said I'm not a mod so really who am I to say you can or cannot submit things.
There is a specific category for all 3D All-Stars runs in the category extensions part of the leaderboard. You can submit runs there. This is because BLJ's are not the sole difference between them, things such as pole grabs and 3D Allstars also maps Mario's movement to digital buttons allowing for framewalking which while it is possible it is much much more difficult. So it would be unfair to most runners to have it on the same leaderboard as regular SM64. Although you can argue that no strats require framewalking in 70, I just thought it right to point it out as it is still a major difference.
Simple answer is button mashing, that's what we do.
Sure https://discord.gg/3DhVpqw8tk is a discord featuring me and a few other DK runners that each play at least one of the DK NES games (DK, DK Jr, DK 3, etc.) If you want you can ask any questions you may have there, or you can just ask them here in this forum. Either way I'd be happy to assist you. Always nice to find someone interested in something you are also interested in.
Check the original forum post about adding the original edition. It's titled Original Addition, and it's by JAje. The answer should be there in the first post.
Also dude, you need to start working your trust back, I suspected stuff from the start when you first showed people that DK run. I wanna keep helping you get better at runs and give you tips to improve, but you really need to prove yourself to being committed to real runs or ILs, or just become a splicer/TASer and try to help the community by discovering new things or proving certain times or glitches possible, etc. but don't cheat runs and try to submit them.
Okay a 1:20 is possible because both me and lively have done that without the glitch at the end of the 2nd stage, and yes, the 3rd stage clip is possible on PRG1, I've done it and you did send me a video showing you doing it as well, it's just really annoying to do in that version because you can't just hold down and jump, you have to do a backwards jump and then hold down before touching the vine.
It is not too active here but there's always someone to help, you can submit your run as long as you can clearly hear the game audio and can see the game. I recorded with a tablet before so recording with your iPhone should be fine as long as you can see the whole game. No timer required.
You can play with an n64 controller but as you said you can't press B or the C buttons, because those aren't mapped in game. So essentially you are playing without some of the buttons. Also you would need an adapter and IDK how much those cost.
Oh yeah also setting your FPS to your stream to 60 or 61 helps given the game runs around that speed, but yeah GL on your runs.
Potentially you can, it depends how choppy it is, if you can see a good portion and say maybe the key points of the run you could be fine, future tip though is to record your streams through OBS (I'm guessing thats what you're using) or just record it through whatever you're using so you have a version that doesn't drop frames like the live recording/broadcast from Twitch would.
This link should work then. https://discord.gg/3DhVpqw8tk
