The only way to do that would be to either somehow obtain the upstairs key without visiting BitFS, or find a wrong warp that would take you to the upstairs section from either the basement or lobby. Otherwise, it's not happening, since the only way into the upstairs section is through a door that requires the key obtained in BitFS.

Does it matter which dinosaur design you choose in the beginning of the game? The only one that would be of remotely any use would be V-Raptor, but I think I heard one time that you don't really use V-Raptor besides for the Electrominite quest so it doesn't matter. Any answers are welcome, thanks!
