When going for ashes, its much faster to go via the Office and Dining Room. Come down the stairs and just head straight to the right, saves going the long way through the Foyer, Living Room and Kitchen.

You can also examine the camera before the text in the first-person area which saves you having to go back to check it. Saves a sec or two.
