Hi, i'm planning to learn to speedrun pokémon red but i've got a question. As said in the rules of the category, if you are using an emulator, you need to show the border of the emulator you are using. The thing is, i'm running on a MAC which doesn't show the border once on OBS, what should i do ?
As we are more and more runners of this game and the splits are quite tough to do, we should make an auto splitter. Does someone know how to do that ? \o/
In the rules, it is specify that turbo button are refused. But when you watch the run from HassenZero ( 2nd at this time ) he is saying himself : "have finished Batman in 5:52 minutes In gameboy emulator KGB (Turbo button )"
So are we just supposed to ignore the rules ? I'm getting ready to speedrun this game for weeks now, but i want to follow the rules, like everybody else on this forum.
By the way, the WW is saying : "i use KIGB emulator and keyboard and just use autofire in B buttons for the bosses"
Aren't autofire and turbo button the same thing ?
So please someone take care of that, or just change the rules.

I see so many vidéos about TAS, so i've been wondering. What's exactly a TAS ? I know it's an emulator where you can press a key to save at certain points and then run it again from there, so then you can let the game play, yeah ? so i tried to search on the internet to download one and didn't find anything... even on their website, tas-videos.org, on the download section, it seems like they only give advices
So my question is : Where can i find an emulator on wich i can use TAS for speedrunning ?
