the reason why i never used these strategies is because they were after level 5, and level 5 is very inconsistent edit : i just got the record without the strategies, my next run will include at least one of the strategies

in old threads, people and old moderators agreed that skips shouldnt be allowed in runs and it shouldnt have their own category so i guess its an unofficial rule

edit : the mods use the game rules for full game runs, and category rules for il runs i think

i think the boombox can be used for the maze, but idk if it actually saves time or not

i think it saves around 9 seconds if its done perfectly, so i think 4:13 is around perfection which is only a few hundred ms away from the wr

stage 10 skip (i couldnt comment on my run for some reason)

edit : i think the runs were actually done on a older version of the game, because the runs are 4 and turning 4 years old, which is how old the oldest runs are in the older category. Otterstone never put "You're running an older version of this game and this will be moved to older" or anything like that in the runs he verified that were in the older category, and it is possible that he didnt really know the difference between older and old runs (just like most people back then since many older runs have "You're running an older version of this game and this will be moved to older") and didnt change the category that the person thought it was in
