Click leaderboards. Then click episode + dlc boards. Then submit runs.
Revisiting this. Im finally actually doing this. When i do a run - where would i submit it?
While very cool that you did 2 runs at the same time, we've actually had someone do a triple any% run. One on pc,ps4 and ps2 at the same time.
Though i think its very awesome to see others doing multiple console runs! Thankyou for sharing.
I'd suggest going into the discord to make your point. Personally i think it shouldn't be, because you could use it to track any rng. It opens yourself up to cheaters using rng injection and such. It would very difficult to keep on the up and up
anything that reads the memory of the game is not allowed. This is doing that. However you can use an RNG tracker if you use a different method. for example, in OoA we use cures and an rng tracker to find where we are. this is because you could accomplish the same thing just using spread sheets. Since we're using in game ways to track the rng, it's fine. this is more like an outside tool, reading memory. which is obviously different.
If you submit it, mods probably would figure a spot to put it. Just make a note saying so.
I want to do multi ffx/x2 runs but not capable due to PC issues. But ps2 on the other hand would be coolio. I would say ps2 English for either. Any thoughts?
Technically that's still part of Mi'ihen road, (you capture mi'ihen creatures there, not MRR) so the rules saying "Mi'ihen skips" bans all 4 of the possible Mi'ihen related skips.
The reason the skips are not allowed is because the original JP leaderboards did not allow them either. I don't agree with the Skip's being banned but they are.
make sure you're not getting the error "splits doesn't recognize this as 1.0.0 file" and make sure you're on that version. there was a patch that updated the game, but got reversed. so just make sure you're not on the updated version that got taken down on steam. and also-to make sure. You are on the PC version I'm assuming? because this obviously won't work on ps4 etc.
Sometimes when I open the game, it'll give me an error message that pops in the background(so make sure you look for it) saying it doesn't recognize it etc. all you have to do, is close and reopen the game. but if you got it set up correctly. it should by all means work easily
absolutely. Enjoy the run.
How would you skip the cutscenes? If by a mod-it probably won't happen, since its no longer Final Fantasy X anymore. It's a rom hack at that point. But if you can convince Cereth, then gg to you.
psclassic should be it's own thing or an emu thing. but it should always be accepted as valid since it's an official release and totally legit version of the game.
Holy christ. That's amazing. anything special for set up? I would like to practice this
