Georgia, USAWhether the game plays different doesn't matter, its still, in the end, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. It still has its own leader board, it still has its own console, it still has its own categories, etc, its not like ps2 times are being mixed with ps4 times.I don't think y'all are looking at the bigger picture.
Like he said, the only thing is level 1, and if thats the ONLY thing that is empty on a single category, who cares, its 1 game out all of them with this, and keeping it seperate for that 1 issues is ridiculous
I know im not much of a kh runner these days, but i think you have a really good idea, and it makes the page look so much cleaner. and so many of these games only have just a few runs and dont really justify having a whole page dedicated to it.
Unfortunately the true ending is not after the defeat of Cyblin Lord, The credits level is an official level you can select from the main menu, and the credits level is the true ending confirmed by Ana(creator of the game) and Iyaz(developer who also runs it), and its the only level to return you to the main menu. If i included the secret level after you receive the game over and before retrieving the pixel stone, then yea, that would be silly to include in the any% run.

p.s the the proper name for the "Credits Level" is THE END, but we dubbed it credits level.

Other than Any%, i was wondering if anyone has ideas for separate categories? A few that i had were:

- All Achievements

the generic kh font looks like garbo, thats why i made it designed around the 2nd main font of the game. Reference level up info/munny in the menus. I'm up for redoing it if yall want.
ps. ive been trying to get yall to use my updated game icons, but never heard back from hobz or sonic(this was sometime last year)
I know old post, but they arent generic wallpapers, saiyanz worked hard on making the backgrounds for each of the games. And i think they still hold up today.

Just gonna throw my 2 cents in, i quit reading the last half of the posts, too long for a subject that shouldnt even be an issue.
If you are gonna do something do it right. And if you dont want to do it right, dont expect people to do it for you instead. Adding a timer is not hard, why should someone else do your job for you because you dont want to put any effort in.
Doing a traditional stream/recording, add the timer to the stream.
Doing a ps4 stream, download the vod/youtube vid and add the timer in an editing program.
Quit being lazy and put just a tiny bit of effort into your hobby, god forbid you have to do something other than just playing the game.

Ps3's are not region locked. So your ps3, assuming you have one, will work
Keep them. Especially if they were done before proof rule was officially put in place

@Drazerk No, You are 100% correct, im referring to console runners. I completely agree with you about video proof for handhelds being difficult. Getting a ds capture card or recording the ds screen with a cam is more difficult, especially when a ds capture card costs way more than a capture card off amazon, and recording with a webcam forces you to hold the console in a very awkward position. Im not very familiar with handheld runs, so my opinions will probably be very in accurate. I consider handhelds a very different case/argument/debate all together. :)
As many of you will know, im all for having video proof of some sort, be it capture card, webcam, or what ever.
I can agree with bb on certain aspects of making it as inclusive as possible. He doesent want to deny a person a spot on the LB just because they dont have the video recording hardware, etc, and encourage people to feel proud of what they accomplish.
But I feel it necessary, regardless of what your time is, to have proof of what you do. To take a quote from the movie Law abiding Citizen "its not about what you know, its about what you can prove.". So i whole heartely believe that proof is needed.
With that said, i want to propose a possible solution. ALL runs without video proof will require splits uploaded to splits.io and a picture of your timer next to the end game screen. Obviously this is not a full proof way of keeping people from cheating, but there has to be something.Then after a certain threshold video proof will be required, no questions asked.(clearly this can be tweaked or whatever)
Like bb said, it takes alot more effort to cheat your way through the leaderboards than it would to do it legit.
I just can not and will not ever get behind that, on a public level, a person can be on a LEADERBOARD with out proof of what they do. Its asanine to even think that is okay.
Hey you with the 4:23 in kh2 with proof, i got a 4:21, but i dont have anything to prove what i did, even though you do, but because i know its better, im going to be above you now.
Dont take that example literally, but i think its just not fair to anyone.
I dont know if what i proposed is a good idea, im not even for it, but ill leave it up for debate.
EDIT: after reading my post again, i really just hate the idea of not having a video attached to a run. Honnestly what is so hard about pointing your webcam at your tv. Mysora has been doing it for over 2 years
@BB I can relate to what your saying about your yugioh comparison, as i was really into yugioh as a kid and would attend meetups at local card shops. But with that being said, though i didnt spend my money on the fancy card sleeves, binders, mats, etc...i still had to have a deck...which cost me quite a bit of money buying packs, starter decks, etc to build an actual deck. So it's not like i could just walk in to the place and play with no deck, i HAD to have one. And they ofcourse had rules: banned cards, limited cards, and no fake cards. Rules I had to follow if i wanted to participate.
It's no different here. You need to spend money to get your equipment in order to participate on a public level. Like hobz said, you can still just point a webcam at your screen. No one is saying you have to go all in with fancy equipment, but just follow basic rules.

Replaced the top text and symbol to white ones.(Contrast against the grey background on the home page)
All of the Japanese text is custom.
Idea i have for a universal split file. I dont know how well this will run over with you guys
For each game/category, have the community decide on the splits EX: KH2 beg. Any% Twilight Thorn Axel 1 7 Wonders Axel 2 etc....
And there could possibly be 2 versions, world and "Micro-Splits" That way people can choose there preferred way of splitting.
I think something like this could be a useful for importing splits for comparisons.
And yes, i have already thought of all the conflicts that can occur due to runners personal preference. Just an idea that i would like others opinions on.
