it is always an option to just have zero limits on equipment and gear for the IL's :) Go ahead and get the best gear, best skills, and steamroll the levels as fast as the game allows!
Thank you for sharing! I think I have heard of this glitch before actually. The main issue IIRC, is that it is a big detour to reach the hangglider, so it is generally not worth it compared to the usual route.
Well played man! I'm glad you managed to beat it. It would have been iffy to have WR be a recording of a recording :)
I'm not sure that is correct, at least not in deeper water that you can swim in. I couldn't get it to work :)
Thanks for sharing! I have noticed that as well. Jump spamming forwards is also faster than just running forwards, but sideways hopping is faster still.
@TylerSmith, I made a video trying to replicate what you described. Is this similar to what you were doing when it happened? I didn't get any launches, but definitely some weird movement with the Ikran. :)
I don't think it was Weaver's Flourish. It is pretty flat there, and only one story. Could you check which Navi camp it was?
Thanks for sharing mate, will try to replicate!
Great job mate!
In order to use the load remover in livesplit, you need to first, right click livesplit, edit splits, and press "activate" on the load remover. Then, you need to right click, and choose compare against>game time. Finally, your timer must be set to "current comparison" or "game time" in the layout settings.

Hello from the future :) Ubisoft have since added an ability to switch ammo types with a hotkey, which is way more efficient than having to fire the gun to reload, and actually makes this technique worthwhile, somewhat.
Munitions boots give a +40% speed boost to your base speed, while parkour kicks and strap will give +15% and +17% (straps only when the gun is holstered), so a total of only 32%. So if you can use the munitions boots effectively, they are faster.
Great question :) We use the quicksave and quickload for a couple of things. Much of the dialogue can be skipped with a QS/QL, as you have noticed.
It is also used in combat situations, because it resets the enemies' level of alertness. It is very useful when being chased by an enemy patrol car, because the enemies need a moment to lock onto you after a QL. It is especially effective at nighttime, and you can often lose the enemies' aggro.
It is also used for it's intended purpose for the trickshots. If you miss a trickshot, it is normally best to quickload rather than shoot another shot, because you generally do not have a lot of ammo/weapon durability to waste.
You can use Mapgenie as a checklist :) That has all the missions, collectibles, outposts etc.
No problem :) It doesn't matter since you can easily beat this run. Get that sub 5h bro!
Great job! It is clear that you have both studied and practiced this run 😄 You have great control over the airplane.
I hope you don't mind me posting a bit of advice, for your next run 😊:
- In "night blitz", I recommend getting the 10-star upgrade under the bed, and the testicoil dropped by the first wave of bombers.
- In "car crash", you can return to base as soon as you pick up the plans (jet) and kit (AA vehicle next to base). You don't have to do anything else, even though the game kinda tells you otherwise.
- In "showdown", I recommend destroying the zeppelin before destroying the two bases with kit and plans. The zeppelin takes a while to go down, and jets can spawn while it is burning up, so you may as well do the other stuff in the meantime.
Best of luck for your next run! I am so happy to see this game getting some love ♥
