It plays very similarly to Xbox One (which is slower than Xbox Series consoles) as long as you're playing on PJ64 3.x with counter factor set to 1. You also have to use the Jabo's Direct Input7 1.6 Input (Controller) plugin or else you get crazy high sensitivity along with Conker's climbing animation that's way faster than on Xbox.
Good news, it already exists! However we didn't count Bull, Count Batula, or Franky as the objective in the story isn't to kill them nor do we ever directly attack them.
Xbox just simply feels alot better to play in my experience. We don't have an exact precise time difference but it does save a few minutes over N64 due to much faster loads & other differences in how the game runs on Rare Replay. However N64 does have a few exclusive tricks listed in the doc Rentsy linked above so be sure to check that out!
Any% Story Mode allows cutscene skips where applicable yes, I just added that in the category rules to make it more clear.

Is it an official Xbox 360 hard drive? If not, try using one of those first if you can. Otherwise I can only recommend playing on the Xbox One (or Series X) console instead, if possible. It's far more stable and a much better playing / running experience.
Consider it done, I went ahead and added boss rush as well.
I always recommended 1.6 but the newer version is probably fine too, use whatever makes playing the most comfortable.
It's possible it may save time instead of jumping onto the boxes after feeding Marvin but there would be no other use I could think of.
Original Xbox One should be the same time as the Xbox One S.
The only reason we even have any% for N64 is because in story mode you can utilize a money duping glitch and skip some of the cutscenes, this doesn't exist on this version to my knowledge. The only difference for any% in this game would be 1 stack of money as the rest is required to progress. I promise it's not hard to remember all the locations for money once you get a few runs in.
I actually haven't seen this done before, there most likely isn't a loading zone until you trigger it after destroying the tower

I third this statement.
No you're right, this exact thing has been discussed before and the majority of the community feels the same way as I do. It could always be reconsidered in the future if opinions change.
Actually the cheaper carts I found appeared to be fake with the legitimate carts still going for quite a lot more so my mistake sorry.
Yup I don't see a problem with that, whoever gets the fastest time on an official release of a game fully DESERVES it without having to be ignored or sharing 1st with an inferior time on an inferior version just so the other runner can feel better about themselves.
They aren't lazy just because they don't agree with what another leaderboard does, not every leaderboard should be run the same way. I have never cared for the way SM64 runs things and how they refuse to take anybody who doesn't play on N64 seriously, I'll happily follow OOT and DK64 thank you very much.
One more thing I forgot to mention is that Xbox doesn't have a region lock making it more accessible to EU runners who would have to pay alot more for a NTSC N64 console and cart otherwise.
@Liv Can I also get a removal of supermod Rhuller on the Conker series page? (as well as the remaining games) https://www.speedrun.com/conker
Sorry I didn't quite make that clear in the first post, thanks again!
Can I request the removal of a couple super mods who have been inactive for well over a year? One is Rhuller of the Conker series and the other is Princess_Flaaffy of Conker's Bad Fur Day, thanks in advance.
Most of us agree and follow the way leaderboards like OOT and DK64 are being run.
There is this fantastic feature on SRC for every user that allows you to filter out the other platforms so you can compare N64 by itself which I suggest using.
I think speedrunning is mainly about self improvement and anybody who wants to take it seriously or try to beat the WR should play on the fastest officially released version of the same game.
That same argument can be made for people who only have Xbox one considering the cart used to go for quite a lot. The price of an original used Xbox one and Rare Replay really isn't that much different than an N64 and a cartridge of BFD (even though the price of a cart seems to have dropped a bit recently) so I disagree and say it's not 'pay to win' in this community.
