Im new to speedrunning this game, and I have put over 100 hours in my main save (which is on the most recent patch). I want to down-patch to speedrun the game, will doing so corrupt my saves?
Any help would be great, thanks!
I already have LiveSplit, so that shouldnt be an issue. If I can, Ill just set up 2 timers side by side and start them both when I spawn in.
What is the difference between In game time and Real time? And how do you calculate real time? Thanks.
Ok. Ill just make sure that the camera is positioned properly. Thanks.
So since my computer is bad, and cant screen record, can a run get accepted if its recorded by a phone or something? Because I was told by someone on Discord that a few of their runs that they recorded using a phone were accepted. So can you do this?
So I was thinking the other day, and I realized this. When you first get a game, and do your first playthrough, its a game, you play it for fun, you play it for the gameplay or the story. But as soon as you start speedrunning the game, its no longer just a game. Its a hobby, its a competition, its a dedication. I dont know if this is the same for anyone else, but it is for me. Just wanted to share that.
This sounds like an interesting idea. I like it. Im willing to give it a go.
So I wanted to start speedrunning Minecraft Java edition after I saw one of Dream's speedruns a while back. I main 1.14-15, but my laptop (HP 2000) is very slow. I'm planning on building a PC later this year. The only version I can attempt to speedrun with decent framerates is 1.7. Any tips on how to do an MC speedrun? Thanks!
