The PS1 port on Namco Museum Volume 3 has some special additions. First, I don't know if you can continue the game if you game over on the arcade version, but you can on this Volume 3, meaning you can easily speedrun to floor 60. Additionally, there are 2 secret harder versions that only exist on this port, Another Tower, and Nightmare Tower which is even harder. (And yes, there is a guide on how to do complete these two extra towers.)

Yeah, it can be added. It wont be on the same leaderboard as the arcade leaderboard (for the continue reason that you mentioned making the PS1 version much easier), but I can add that.
