It seems my PS4 won't let me record videos of my surgeries. Anyone else had this problem/knows a solution?
I have that problem as well. I have to resort to filming with my screen with my phone.
I'm using an elgato capture card, and I generally despise the inbuilt PS4 recording/streaming system for how bad it generally is, in my opinion. I'd suggest you either get a capture card, or you just use a camera for filming your TV.
The card I use is an Elgato HD60 pro, the one you put in your PC, I got mine for 160€ about a year ago. It's currently even more expensive though. 177€ on Amazon here, 180$ on the US Amazon. The old one I had before, the Elgato Game Capture HD, which is a USB device, is still like 150$ on the US Amazon.
There are some cheaper capture cards, between 60 and 80 bucks, but I have no idea if they're any good.
