Hello, i hope you guys are doing well. While i was searching for the IPS of "Super Mario Bros. Special for NES" i found out that the original one (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/3281/) was removed by request of the Author and it's no longer available to download in favor of a new one from 2021 (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/6067/) which now contains the enemies and powerups of the original PC-8801/SharpX1 release. Does this mean we will get a new category? Due to the new content i don't know if i can just go and upload a run of this new romhack on the same category as the others.

Hey, I updated the rules a little (added some more allowed emulators from the SMB1 leaderboard) and added patches to the resources section. I haven't managed to get a hold of the patch for the version used by the top 2 times but I believe the 'X1' patch works mostly the same just looks a little weird, or you can use the 'with warpzones' patch which I think also applies to a normal smb1 rom.

You can also use the newer anniversary version if you'd like. Not sure if we're going to separate it from the other patches.
