In 10 walljumps, is clipping inside a block then jumping off of it considered a walljump?
The first paragraph in the rules for "10 Walljumps" is
"Must be actual walljumps. Jumping inside a wall and hitting the block directly above you does not count as a walljump. Cramming yourself between a wall and the edge of the screen and jumping from there also does not count as a walljump."
If that answers your question
If you mean clipping inside the center column of bricks and then jumping, the answer would also be no.
Baicaly, you have to do a jump being above a wall without touch the flor, ez xd
The glitch consist on that, because of the colisions and the hitboxes of the game, you basicaly can enter into the wall into a block, so for a wall jump basicaly you enter into a wall for a short period of time, where you can jump if you are touching the block bellow of you, thats why is as precise the exact pixel of the walljump So, taking this in count, knowing that you have to be walking/staying on a block to can jump, I think that you only can count it as "walljump" if
- the only block you are using to jump have just 1 block above another block, why you have to clip into the above block to jump using as flor the bellow block
- after of the jump, you just out of the clipped wall, without clip there many time
In all case, is not hard to distinguish it, but have to be minimumly logical For example, you cant do a normal jump above a wall touching the floor and say that "its a wall jump because I been touching the wall while I been jumping all the time (jaja ez WR)", because literaly would be a logicless category and nothing special in it if you would can do that
Hey Folks!
Just wanted to announce a new change to timing methods for both 11x categories. The new timing standards are as follows:
- Timing starts from power-on/reset (or game select if you're using one of the combo cartridges).
- Timing ends on grabbing the axe on the 11th run.
- Time betw
