So I have been thinking about this recently. I have seen many new mods being added for SMB1, and on almost all runs that are in the sub 5 range, I have seen eddie has retimed the run, and I was surprised to see him not being added as a mod. I wanted to hear the community’s feedback on this, so I created a straw poll where you can vote if Eddie should become a mod. I also realize that being able to time a run is not the only thing to need to be able to do become a mod, but I feel like eddie is just very knowledgeable and he knows what he is doing when verifying runs. Here is the link: https://strawpoll.com/zrcsps14 I really hope you guys consider him for mod! ;)
I have already stated various times I would be decent since while the mods have 9-5 jobs or similar, since I do not have a current job, I could always have time to check the queue.
@TwitchName I would love to be a mod, and I feel I am ready for the responsibility. I have asked a couple of times in the past but I haven't ever gotten a response.
So I’d say the poll is dead by now, and almost 90% of the vote was in Eddie’s favor. Eddie for Mod 2018
