Chapter 1 - Time of The Giants Any%

For this run you will need :
S2 Flameslinger - Fastest Skylander

Any Lightcore skylanders - Lightcores deals large damage to all close enemy's on screen when first placed on portal

(Optional but prefered) Winged Boots - Gives Skylander a short speed boost

Start : Flame dash up the slopes towards the debris and break down the fence with a dash. Activate cannon and hug left wall to avoid cannon cutscene (or wait a little before going). Move turtles and dash off the ledge towards the bottom bamboo platform. There are lots of small edges that get you stuck when you dash into them, so try avoiding wall hugging. When on bottom platform, use volley shot to kill chompys. Spam fire arrows just to be safe. Enter cave and dash all the way into Gigantus' hole. Then kill all chompys as quickly as possible, then Volley Shot/Collum of Fire the Arkeyan Jouster. When gates open dash up and out of cave. Dahs towards chain and break. Proceed towards second chain without touching the fence closer to you on the bamboo bridge. When at platform, kill one on floor with flame arrow and one up top with Volley Shot. Proceed to next chain and break it. When heading towards third chain, avoid both sides of bridge as they both can stop you in place. When at battle gate, put on lightcore to defeat enemy's and break top rock on chain. Proceed to breaking chain.

*note some lightcores can hit the chain while still in battle arena e.g Pop Fizz, Shroomboom, Prism Break etc

Chapter 2 - "Junkyard Isles" IL Any%

Before you begin, ensure all of the Luck-o-Tron Wheels are set to Power.

Begin the Chapter with Hot Head (with the "The Burninator" upgrade path) on the Portal. Hold down Attack1 and Attack2 as the intro plays so that Hot Head will immediately go to his Hot Rod form when you skip the intro. Drive straight through all of the walls. Between the two groups of walls, there is a sharp turn; turning here too much will cause you to hit a steep portion of the ground and lose speed, so be careful. Defeat the two Lancemasters and collect the Octophonic Music Player.

During the cutscene, switch to S2 Drobot (with the "Master Blaster" upgrade path). Immediately after skipping the cutscene, enter Persephone's Cabin and go into and out of her upgrade menu, then leave. Continue as usual. Defeat the Bark Demon as fast as possible, as it is the only enemy you need to defeat to open the gate to the key. As you insert the key into the slot on the gate, switch back to Hot Head. Drive tight against the edge of the island and break through the wall. Just before you grab the key, release all buttons to exit Hot Rod mode; as you grab the key, turn around and become a Hot Rod again. Pray that you are able to drive in between the Chompy Pod and Bark Demon (otherwise, just drive all the way around them) and unlock the gate while still holding down Attack1 and Attack2. Drive up to the nearest boulder and throw it at the left house in the distance. Defeat the Chompies as you make your way to the second boulder; throw this boulder towards the right house. As the boulder is flying, switch to any Lightcore Skylander and allow just enough frames for the Light Bomb to obliterate everything on-screen (this is all so you won't have to wait for the Archers to drop down to the ground), then switch to S2 Flameslinger (path does not matter, must have Wow-Pow Upgrade). Speed-Demon into to the farther house with the key, grab it, and run back out. Get as close as you can to the Bark Demon, then switch to LC Drobot (also with the "Master Blaster" upgrade path). Both Bounce Pads should automatically unlock; get the second key and open the gate. Don't be hasty in skipping Auric's dialogue, as pressing the skip button too many times may open up shop dialogue. Collect the Engine.

Remain as LC Drobot and defeat everything in the first portion of the island; Tech Skylanders get their EP activated here, so this should not take long to do. Immediately as you walk through the gate, turn directly left and shoot at the fleeing Flame Archers before they get too far from you. Finish off the rest of the enemies, and end the battle standing right next to the turret. Complete the turret minigame and proceed. At the push-block puzzle, push only the middle block to get through the line of blocks, but then push it back. Walk around to the start of the block bridge, and be careful as you navigate the edge of the left block that you did not push. Complete the turret minigame. As the gate opens, switch to S2 Flameslinger and Speed-Demon your way to the Compass.

IL Run Timer Notes

As opposed to full-game runs, Individual Level run times are determined by the time shown in the Dares section on the final Objectives screen that appears at the end of the Chapter (NOT NECESSARILY when all Main objectives are completed; you must wait for the Chapter to finish completely).

With this in mind, it is important to note that real time does not necessarily affect game time. The game will automatically stop the game timer in certain situations, including (but not limited to):
- Most dialogue in which you cannot move
- Switching Skylanders
- Solving a Lock Puzzle
- Playing Skystones
- Accessing menus (i.e. Auric's Shop, Persephone's Upgrades)

The following events DO NOT stop the timer:
- Driving the Conquertron in Chapter 6
- Piloting the Copter in Chapter 14

In short, when the player HUD is visible, the in-game timer is active.

Using the Time Twister Hourglass DOES NOT slow down the in-game timer.

It is best to switch Skylanders in a run while the timer is stopped, usually during dialogue or a cutscene. The delay from spawning into the map will be occupied by the cutscene, allowing you to start moving sooner when the cutscene ends.

Skylanders Giants Any% All Levels Route [Dec2016]

This route hasn’t been run yet, but it is the fastest route, easily capable of sub 2 hours

CHAPTER 1: TIME OF THE GIANTS

At Hungry Plateau, fire Arrow Rain from second [lower] platform
Fire circle to destroy third chain


CHAPTER 2: JUNKYARD ISLES
Tree Rex [Knight Helm, Treefolk Charger]


At houses, pick up rocks to throw at houses - saves time
On Lonesome Drow Landing, press X (on XBox) to smash rock


CHAPTER 3: RUMBLETOWN
Stealth Elf [s2, Knight Helm, Pook Blade Saint]


Only kill Lance Master and Root Runner on first bit
Toebiter's Ascent 2 - No need to kill any enemies here. Middle block forward 1, top right up 1, top left forward 1, go through.


[ARENA BATTLE]
Round 1 - Just kill everything. Very easy first round.
Round 2 - If you stand in the fire until it lights up, you can trick enemies into killing themselves. This makes the rest quite easy to defeat.
VS Brock - If you position yourself right, Brock jumps on top of you, and you can kill him in seconds.


CHAPTER 4: CUTTHROAT CARNIVAL
Stealth Elf


House of Cards - Use a Skystones Cheat to save time.
Loading Platform 2 [2] - Kill the Goliath Drow. Ignore the rest. Turn the platform and go through.
The Promenade - Kill all the enemies, then enter Boatmaster’s House. Use a Cheat to skip the game, then head onto the Galleon.
The Galleon - Hug the wall of the ship to avoid cutscene. Fire cannon and go back.
Pirate Prison - Solve cannon puzzle, Cheat on Bandit, progress.
Pirate Island - Kill Axecutioner to get through gate. Then kill all enemies and do block puzzle. Ignore every other enemy on the top before doing block puzzle. Kill the Drows and Cyclops before grabbing key and entering the Crow’s Nest.
The Crow's Nest - Cheat on Dreadbeard.


CHAPTER 5: GLACIER GULLY 
Stealth Elf


Frozen Toe - Kill all enemies. Position yourself so first Bag-O-Boom throws bomb in a different place to second, then kill them
Chilled Bowl - Get through to far bowl. At the lip of the bowl, flip and skip the big battle.
Snow Drift Gate -To solve puzzle at end,get the one blocking the bounce pad first, THEN going for the two blocks on the right together.


CHAPTER 6: SECRET VAULT OF SECRETS
Stealth Elf


Use Lock Puzzle Keys on every Puzzle
Ignore all enemies on last section


CHAPTER 7: WILIKIN VILLAGE
Stealth Elf/Hex [s2, Knight Helm, Bone Master]/Time Twister Hourglass


Cheat @ Rutherford
At Chompy Mage, switch to Hex. When Mage is in attack phase [big monster], place down Hourglass, and spam Wow Pow.

Spam attacks to beat Kaos [basically lay bombs and throw dynamite until you win]
