will this game have induvial levels? i ask this because rock of ages 1 has them and while the game does have it's own leaderboard one you can't see these most of these runs and it will only show runs for your device so even if you have 1st on pc you can't know if someone on console has done it faster.
There is at least 2 ingame leaderboards: The PC leaderboard and the Console leaderboard. I think this split is nessesary since the non-patched game on console has more momentum/max speed and some patched shortcuts.
I base this mostly on my own experience trying for the La Mancha, Egypte and Dover shortcuts and the grind for Sub 1 minute on Bologna. While WoodyX rampage has an easy-esk route for sub 1.
I don't think the in-game leaderboards are very useful for speed running. there are still a decent amount of blatantly cheated times on the PC leader boards. I also think that having a place to submit videos of times will help more people learn how to go fast. Speedrun.com does have features that allow splitting leaderboards into PC and Console versions. I also think that individual levels would work well with war and the other game modes, because there are many things you can do in war that you can't do in time trials.
