This goes against the spirit of competition and fairness that is integral to speedrunning. Bypassing game mechanics: Some auto clickers and external programs can bypass game mechanics such as cooldowns or resource management. This can significantly alter the gameplay experience and can result in faster times that would not be possible without the use of these tools.
Skewing results: The use of auto clickers or external programs can skew the results of a speedrun and make it difficult to compare times fairly. If some players are using external tools and others are not, it can be challenging to determine who is truly the fastest.
We already are looking into placing a ban on autoclicking and other methods of third-party manipulation to click faster. The rules are not yet decided and will be decided by the 8th. The current runs that use autoclicker are unofficial runs and do not reflect our meta/ruleset yet
