I am impressed by the increasingly powerful menuing skills pushing the top times. In contrast, in fit of wild fumbling, I once capsule warped myself to the sewers in front of Joe's Bar. This is likely useless, but since I'm kind of clueless about how the warp got labbed out in the first place, did we know it could go other places? Do we have other options and the mansion was just the most optimal place? Since we have another medrezin to work with in the weird room, I keep wondering if there's some way to beneficially route the warp in twice.
NESAtlas was able to warp to a few other places, best documented here: https://tasvideos.org/Forum/Topics/403?CurrentPage=3&Highlight=531397#531397
But not exactly sure how to get to said places. There could be a lot more to learn about the glitch still, but I don't think anyone's put a ton of time into doing a deep dive beyond what we already know.
The glitch appears to be timing based. So we mash in the map section of the HUD in the hopes that we hit on a frame that will warp us.
There is no need to wiggle the cursor around either. Just imagine there are hidden blue squares on the map that represent doors. The upper-left is a door to the bathroom, top-right goes to the bedroom, etc. There is also one in the upper middle area that goes directly to the police.
These hidden doors are consistent whether you warp from the doctors office, or the weird room. So the square you clicked on for the sewer is just below the bedroom door. Its just one of many different doors you can use while glitched.
I hope that all makes sense!

In short, I do believe so (that we have other options). Not only that, but there is a huge potential for an early warp for whoever has the time to find it. I made a post on the aforementioned TASvideos thread, see that for more details.
Thank you all so much! It's fascinating to read about this in detail. I also rather like that at ~6m in the video Enmet posted the glitching even takes out the bass in the game music.
The board has been cleaned up to the degree that it merits a news announcement. The following changes have been made:
- Duplicate runs (exact same submissions being in both the glitchless category and the any% category) have been removed (formally rejected/reverted). The rule set for the any% categ
