Schy you will be missed

I know it looks bad, me doing another community thread for hollow knight, but in all seriousness, I am only doing this thread because nobody else has. I might have seemed obsessive over speedruns with my last 2 posts but I really enjoyed Path of Pain speedrunning back a few months ago and I cheered on and off for different runners, one of those runners was Schy. The fact that they passed so young is awful, and even though I really don't have a connection like other hollow knight speedrunners had to them, I still loved there speedruns and always left a like on there path of pain videos. Huge respect to Paum for putting together a service, and huge respects to the community for coming together and helping donate for charity and there family.

Rest in peace Schy.

When Schy was still active, when all the PoP runs were happening, I was playing HK a lot and loved watching and learning these speedruns, I remember seeing schys run where they used thorn skip for the first time, around 4 months after that, I took a big break from hollow knight, recently I came back and I saw fireb0rns video on the PoP history, since that was pretty much around the time I left, I really wanted to see the rest of it, after doing some more digging, when I saw schy last uploaded 2 years ago, I thought they had just stopped being public, when I found out they died, even tho I personally never had any form of contact, it felt insanely painful to see, someone who had such an impact on the HK speedrunning community, passing away, honestly feels even weirder when the last time you were around that community, they were around too and suddenly they weren’t anymore.

Schy you will always be remembered. R.I.P
