in the only run of this game the opening level is skipped is it not nessesary for the run

I think it's because level 2 is actually unlocked right away, but I'm not sure. If you're interested in actually running this, I'd highly recommend looking into the remastered version of the game. Much smoother and an overall better game.

Essentially, this is a dead game.
