Hello karters, Pika here.

First of all I have reworded some of the Rules: some of them had typos and some of them were not clear enough, so I simply updated them for more clarity. Along with that, I have also made a thread where you can find out the sources of each player without a Speedrun.com account who has times listed in our charts, which can be found here (https://www.speedrun.com/mkdsce/thread/9st27).

We have decided to add the "Best Lap" categories for all the charts of the IL boards, which means we had to do a new accuracy update for these new categories. It basically took a month, but here we are, with some cool and accurate charts. The sources are basically the same as the ones used for the previous accuracy update, just with some more YouTube channels included.

The Alternative Routes charts also have been added. They basically are normal Time Trials where slower routes are taken instead of the fast ones. A simple example would be not touching the spinning pipe in Bowser Castle. For now not many tracks have Alternative Routes (only Yoshi Falls, Bowser Castle, Rainbow Road, GCN Luigi Circuit Best Lap only and GBA Sky Garden are in fact included), but you can submit your ideas for new routes in this thread (https://www.speedrun.com/mkdsce/thread/kmnlp). We hope you will like this new idea.

That being said, I would like to mention that a lot of sources are now gone from the internet: all of them are listed in this thread (https://www.speedrun.com/mkdsce/thread/vu76u), so if you know some ways to bring back to life these sources, we would deeply appreciate it... after all, the more we are the better! Remember that you can submit times you find on the internet in that same thread :)
