Hello community! I am a mediocre Minecraft player and I decided that I want to start trying Speedruns! They seem really fun and I think I could get a great deal of joy out of them. Any tips for a beginner?

So, i think the first step is to download some exercising maps and datapacks like those: Datapack and guides to it -

All in all, i am not a great speedrunner. I played about 900 worlds, it is not that many, but this number is really impressive, i think. Good luck in your beginning. And i hope others cool speedrunners will help you.

I mean, my tip to you is find a good seed that allows for you to get diamonds and obsidian rather quickly, as well as a stronghold that is relatively nearby. A guy named Boffy on YouTube beat Minecraft with wooden tools and a lot of blocks, so I think using stone/iron tools could also work.
