I've been working on any% for about a month now with very little luck. My biggest issue has been 5-5, as I'm able to hit most of the other tricks. The last trick always gives me issues. When I jump out, I switch character when the screen gets glitchy, correct? And that should remove the collision with the door, right? Thanks for any help, its the only barrier left between me having a complete run.

Yeah doing a character swap should unload the door when the screen glitches out. Another thing with that trick is that you can't character swap again from respawning to clipping through the door, so do your best to avoid swapping to R2/C-3PO. What you've described is correct so hopefully you'll be able to get the trick down.
